Kabilang ang prestigious na Artist of the Year: TAYLOR SWIFT, naghakot na naman ng top awards sa ‘2022 American Music Award’

HINAKOT ni Taylor Swift ang mga top awards sa nakaraang 2022 American Music Award na ginanap sa Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles noong nakaraang November 20.

Anim na awards ang napanalunan ni Taylor, kabilang na ang prestigious na Artist of the Year.

Napanalunan ni Taylor ang Favorite female pop artist, Favorite pop album, Favorite female country artist, Favorite country album at Favorite music video.

“You, the fans, made it clear that you wanted to hear lots of music that I would make. You encouraged me. So I found the more music I made and the more music I put out, the happier I was. I have the fans to thank essentially for my happiness, and I love you more than I can say,” sey ni Taylor sa kanyang acceptance speech.

Tumanggap naman ng 2022 Icon Award ay ang music legend na si Lionel Richie. Tumagal ng higit na 40 years ang music career ni Lionel at ilang sa mga napasikat niyang songs ay Hello, Endless Love, Easy, Say You Say Me, Brick House and We Are The World.

“God has given you a light. That light is only given to a few…If you get a chance to have that light on you, understand what God has in store … God is trying to tell you you are chosen to inspire. Take this opportunity. That light is on you, inspire,” sey ni Lionel.

Tig-dalawang awards naman ang napanalunan nila Bad Bunny, Beyonce, Harry Styles, BTS, Morgan Wallen, Kendrick Lamar, Wizkid and Tems.

SOBRANG busy man sa kanilang preparations para sa nalalapit nilang concert na JulieVerse sina Julie Anne San Jose at Rayver Cruz, lumipad ang dalawang Kapuso artists pa-Cebu para maging bahagi ng isang event ng GMA Network at GMA Regional TV.

Nitong Sabado, Nov. 19, pinangunahan ng JulieVer ang ‘Christmas Tree of Hope’ Lighting Ceremony ng Marco Polo Cebu. Kasama nina Julie Ann at Rayver sina First VP and Head of GMA Regional TV and Synergy and Acting Head of GMA Integrated News Oliver Victor Amoroso, Assistant Vice President for Local Sales – Regional Business Development Division II and concurrent Station Manager for Central and Eastern Visayas Ann Marie Tan, at mga bumubuo ng Marco Polo Hotel Cebu.

Layunin ng ‘Christmas Tree of Hope’ na makakalap ng pondo para makatulong sa mga Kapuso sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa. Ika-13 taon na ngayong bahagi ang GMA Kapuso Foundation sa nasabing fund-raising event.

Ngayong Sabado, Nov. 26, mapapanood na rin ang ‘JulieVerse’ concert sa Newport Performing Arts Theater sa Pasay City. Special guests sina Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi.

BILANG tribute sa kanilang pumanaw na kaibigan na si Danny Javier, magkakaroon ng show ang dalawang remaining APO Hiking Society members na sina Boboy Garrovillo at Jim Paredes.

Magaganap ang kanilang show sa December 8 sa 19 East Music Bar sa Sucat, Muntinlupa.

Excited na raw si Jim sa magiging show nila ni Boboy dahil matagal na raw silang hindi nakapag-perform sa maraming nag-aabang ng sana’y reunion concert ng APO.

Ayon sa kanyang post sa Instagram: “Excited and nervous to do this. As per venue rules, there will be no advanced ticket selling. There is only gate entrance on the day of the show. All seats are first come first serve, no reservations. Gates open at 7pm. There is food to order at the venue. Show will begin 830pm. Entrance is 1200. Maximum seating is 200 pax. No SRO.”

Pumanaw si Danny Javier sa edad na 75 noong October 31 dahil sa ilang kumplikasyon dala ng kanyang matagal ng sakit.

Taong 2010 noong ma-disband ang APO. Nag-migrate sa Australia si Jim samantalang si Boboy ay naging aktibo sa paglabas sa mga teleserye. Kasalukuyang napapanood si Boboy sa GMA afternoon teleserye na Unica Hija.
