Kinabog ang early favorite na si Michelle: Pambato ng Pasay City na si CELESTE, kinoronahan bilang Miss Universe PH

ANG representative ng Pasay City na si Celeste Cortesi ang kinoronahan bilang Miss Universe Philippines 2022 sa SM Mall of Asia Arena noong Sabado ng gabi.

Ang Kapuso actress-beauty queen na si Michelle Dee na kinatawan ang Makati City ay binigyan ng titulong Miss Universe Philippines Tourism. Samantalang si Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinckx ay Miss Universe Philippines Charity.

Si Miss Misamis Oriental Annabelle McDonnell ang 1st runner-up at si Miss Taguig Katrina Llegado ang 2nd runner-up.

Sa Instagram Stories ni Celeste, pinost niya ang isang photo na kinakausap niya ang korona ng Miss Universe Philippines na La Mer en Majesté crown bago pa man nagsimula ang coronation night.

      “When the ladies saw the new crown for the first time, Celeste whispered on it, manifesting her dream of becoming Miss Universe,” caption pa niya.

During the question and answer portion of the Top 5 finalists, tinanong si Celeste ng: “If you could stop time for a day, how would you spend it?”

Sagot niya ay: “If I could stop time, I would spend it with my family, especially mother. It’s been two years since I haven’t spent time with my family because they live in Italy, and I came here in the Philippines just by myself.

“If I had a chance to spend one day, I would definitely be with my mom, and I would just tell her how much I love her and I miss her.”

      Sa preliminary competition, napanalunan ni Celeste ang awards for Miss Photogenic, Best in Swimsuit, Frontrow Best Arrival Look, Miss Avana, and Miss Aqua Boracay awards.

Noong 2018, si Celeste ang nanalong Miss Earth Philippines 2018 at nag-compete siya sa Miss Earth 2018 pageant kunsaan umabot siya sa Top 8.

Gaganapin ang Miss Universe 2022 sa San Jose, Costa Rica.

NAGSIMULA sa kiddie show na Tropang Potchi noong 2009 si Lianne Valentin kunsaan nakasabay niya sina Bianca Umali, Ella Cruz, Julian Trono at Miggs Cuaderno.

Ngayon ay may sexy image na siya dahil sa role niya bilang other woman sa GMA Afternoon Prime teleserye na Apoy Sa Langit.

      Mula sa pagiging child star ay dumaan na si Lianne sa mga roles na best friend, kontrabida at kapatid ng bida sa iba’t ibang teleserye. Dahil gusto niyang magkaroon ng bagong image, nag-audition siya para sa role na Stella na isang kabit na nagpanggap na anak ni Zoren Legaspi sa Apoy Sa Langit.

      “Marami na po akong ginawang teleserye na best friend ako ng bida. The last being ‘Ang Dalawang Ikaw’ and gusto ko namang mag-level up ang roles na gagawin ko. Nagkataon na may audition for this new teleserye and pumunta ako talaga. I’m super happy noong nalaman ko na nakuha ko yung role ni Stella.

“It’s very challenging and new for me. I just know na it’s sexy, daring, and mature role pero mas na-realize ko habang tumatagal na yung role ni Stella, there’s more to it dahil maraming shift and emotions.

“And personally yung pagiging sexy and daring, nahihirapan ako diyan pero sinet ko lang yung mind ko na I’m gonna commit, ako si Stella, I’m gonna do Stella and Stella is my role, sa akin lang siya wala nang iba and it pulled off naman and sobrang iba yung makikita ninyong Lianne dito.”

Ready na raw si Lianne sa mga magiging harsh comments ng netizens kapag napanood na siya bilang si Stella. Welcome daw sa kanya iyon dahil mapag-uusapan ang kanilang teleserye.

      “Aware po ako sa mga nagiging comments ng ibang actresses na gumaganap na other woman sa mga teleserye. Alam ko na masasakit ang mga sasabihin nila, pero alalahanin nila na trabaho lang po ito. Umaarte lang po kami.

“But I will welcome those negative comments dahil ibig sabihin ay pinapanood nila ang teleserye namin.”

UNDER investigation ang American Idol winner na si Laine Hardy.

      Nanalo si Hardy sa season 17 ng AI. May sinamahan lang si Hardy sa audition ng AI noong taong iyon at wala siyang balak na mag-audition. Pero pinag-audition na rin siya at siya pa ang nanalo sa bandang huli.

Ngayon ay kinasuhan siya ng felony of intercepting communications sa Baton Rouge, Louisiana noong nakaraang April 28.

Ayon sa report ng LSU Police Department: “Laine Reed Hardy (Non-LSU student) was arrested by LSU Police today and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for violation of 15:1303 — Interception and Disclosure of Wire, Electronic, or Oral Communication. His arrest warrant has been filed with clerk of court.

“Based on the arrest warrant, Hardy is accused of planting a recording device inside an unnamed female and her roommate’s dorm at LSU.

“According to the woman, she found the recording device, which looked like a phone charger, under her futon. She stated that she and Laine had been in a prior relationship until February.”

Nag-tweet ng kanyang statement si Hardy: “Earlier today, I received a warrant due to allegations made against me and have been fully cooperative with the Louisiana State University Police Department. I understand that my career has thrust me into the public spotlight, and I embrace that wholeheartedly as my entire world belongs to my music and my fans. However, due to the sensitive nature of this allegation, I humbly ask for privacy at this time.”

If convicted, Hardy could face up to 10 years in prison.
