NABULILYASO ang inaasam na international exposure ni Tokyo Olympics-bound at Team Philippines gold medal holpeful, world GYMNASTICS men’s floor exercise champion Carlos Edriel ‘Caloy’ Yulo nang ihayag ng International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) ang kanselasyon ng four-leg 2021 Artistic Gymnastics All-Around World Cup Series.
“It is with regret that the FIG announces the cancellation of the All-Around World Cup Series in Artistic Gymnastics, which was part of the Olympic qualification system for Tokyo 2020,” pagbubunyag ng FIG nitong Huwebes.
Orihinal na gaganapin ang series sa Milwaukee (USA), Stuttgart (Germany), Birmingham (Britain) at Tokyo (Japan) sana sa darating na Marso-Abril 2020 bago ni-reset dahil sa pandemic saka ang tuluyang kanselasyon.
Hindi lang ang binatang tubong Ermita, Maynila ang nalungkot kundi pati ang pangulo ng Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) na si Cynthia Carrion. (REC)
