LRT 1 Cavite extension on time ang construction

NANGAKO ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) na ang Light Rail Transit Line 1 Cavite Extension Project ay matatapos ayon sa schedule nito kung saan ito ay magiging operasyonal sa huling quarter ng taong 2024.
Ayon kay DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista na sinabi ng Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC) na siyang namamahala, ang construction ay nasa tamang schedule nito upang matapos on time ang LRT 1 Cavite Extension.
“We are on track to finish the Cavite extension on time. This is the reason we are here, to make arrangements with the LRMC and their contractors so this line will be operational as scheduled. We are expecting this line to be operational by September 2024. I am impressed with the status of the project,” wika ni Bautista.
Ayon sa updates ng construction, ang unang bahagi ng LRT 1 Cavite extension ay on time sa kanilang civil works. Lahat ng istasyon ay halos may 30 porsiyentong completion level.
Ang Dr. A. Santos istasyon ay may 48.03 porsiyento ng tapos, habang ang Ninoy Aquino ay may 34.06 porsiyento na rin ang tapos. Ang istasyon sa Redemptorist ay may naitalang 30.17 porsiento sa civil works.
Mayroon naman 37.12 porsi yento ang progress ng completion sa istasyon ng Asia World at 35. 47 porsiento naman ang estasyon ng Manila International Airport.
“From 20 at present, the LRT 1 Cavite extension targets to increase the number of railway stations to 28 upon completion of its three phases,” dagdag ni Bautista.
Naglalayon na ang proyekto sa LRT 1 Cavite extension ay makarating hanggang Bacoor sa Cavite kung saan madaragdagan ng 11 kilometro ang buong rail line.
Sinabi rin ng LRMC na ang mga istasyon ay makakatulong upang tumaas pa ang kapasidad ng LRT 1 kung saan ito ay magkakaroon at magiging 800,000 na pasahero kada araw.
Dahil din sa construction ng LRT 1 Cavite extension, inaasahang magkakaroon ng improvement sa commercial development malapit sa mga istasyon.
“Commuters can expect a comfortable, reliable and modern integrated transport by riding the LRT 1. Travel time from Pasay to Cavite will be cut down from an hour and a half to only 25 to 30 minutes,” saad ng LRMC.
Ang LRMC consortium na binubuo ng Metro Pacific Investments Corp.’s Metro Pacific Light Rail Corp., Ayala Corp.’s AC Infrastructure Holdings Corp., at Macquarie Infrastructure Holdings (Philippines) PTE Ltd. ay siyang nanalo ng kontrata para sa pagtatayo ng LRT-Cavite extension project. LASACMAR
