“First of all, I would like to congratulate my good friend, Cong. Bambol, for securing a full four-year term this time. No more politics in sports because it destroys the three values of Olympism which are excellence, friendship and respect,” esplika ni Romero. “It’s better that they work with Cong. Bambol for the sake of Philippine sports.”

Bukod sa Tokyo Games, nagti-training din ang national athletes para sa 31st Southeast Asian Games 2021 sa Vietnam, 4th Asian Youth Games at 6th Asian Beach Games sa China, 6th Asian Indoor at Martial Arts Games sa Thailand at iba pang paligsahan.

“With so many international tournaments next year, I hope our elite athletes will be given the right training so Cong.
