Maraming na-bother sa ‘retirement is calling’: SHARON, inaming feeling ‘exhausted’ na sa edad na 56

MARAMI na namang na-bother sa pagpapahiwatig muli ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta sa kanyang Instagram post ang planong mag-retire sa showbiz dahil feeling ‘exhausted’ na siya.

Sa kanyang IG post kasama ang screenshot ng isang pahina ng libro, “This is from Joanna Gaines’ new book. The Stories We Tell.

This part really resonated with me because, well, I am 56 now — and I am just undeniably EXHAUSTED.”

Kaya pag-amin ni Sharon, “Retirement is calling. Once in a while I can pop up in a movie or two, a concert or a TV show even a season or a series if it’s not too tiring. But I AM tired… All I wish I could do is be with my family and take care of them. And do all those other things I always wish I could do but just couldn’t find the time for.
“Please pray with me. Thank you so much and I love you all.”

Marami nga ang agad na nag-react lalo na ang mga kaibigan sa showbiz at na kanilang ipagdarasal si Mega. Marami rin ang naka-relate sa kanyang pinagdaraanan.

Aminado naman kami na true-blooded Sharonian, since 1982, silently supported Sharon through her albums and movies and until now, still completing my collection.

Kaya in my mind, in my heart and in my soul, mula noon at hanggang ngayon, #labyumegahanggangdulo.
For sure, gagawa at gawa ka pa ng maraming characters na tatatak sa mga manonood at tagahanga. And hopefully, more songs, renditions man o original songs, dahil iba pa rin ang tatak Megastar.

Samantala, isa nga pala si Sharon sa pararangalan ng Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) para sa fifth edition ng The EDDYS (Entertainment Editors’ Choice), ngayong November 27 sa historic Metropolitan Theatre (MET) in Manila.

Isa si Sharon sa napiling 10 Movie Icons na gumawa ng sariling mark sa entertainment industry lalo na paggawa ng pelikula, Makakasama niya sina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Phillip Salvador, Roi Vinzon, Helen Gamboa, Divina Valencia, Elizabeth Oropesa, at Alma Moreno.
