MAUREEN, nagpasalamat sa supporters at nag-apologize sa kanyang ‘white lies’; trending ang pagpasok nila ni KISSES sa ‘MUP’

NAGPASALAMAT ang first Filipina winner ng Asia’s Next Top Model na si Maureen Wroblewitz sa kanyang mga supporters sa Instgram, kasabay ng pag-a-apologize sa ‘di pagsasabi ng totoo tungkol sa pagsali niya sa 2021 Miss Universe Philippines.

Panimula ni Maureen sa kanyang post, “Surprise! I apologize for the white lies. As difficult as it was, I had to keep this a secret.”

Dugtong pa niya, “First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the overwhelming support. Please know that I very much appreciate all the love and your kind words. This is the new chapter I’ve talked about in a recent post and I humbly ask for your continued support. It’s true what I’ve said in my interviews. I’ve always considered dipping my toes in pageantry and committing to it when I felt ready. It was not until I received my sign from the Universe, that I knew I couldn’t wait for that feeling of readiness and that I’d have to take that first step in order to feel ready.    “I’ve shared the importance of getting out of your comfort zone as a means to grow as a person and that’s what I’m doing once again. This feels new and to be honest, I’m terrified but I’ve come to realize that I just fear the unknown (thank you @gerryd16). What I fear most though is living a life of regrets. I don’t want to grow old thinking that I should’ve joined, alternatively I would like to say ‘I’m glad I’ve joined’. I’ve learned to stop saying ‘one day’ and instead I say ‘day 1’. I hope through this I inspire you to reach for the Universe. It’s all up to you. You can achieve anything you put your mind to and sometimes if you believe hard enough the Universe will conspire in helping you succeed ✨

Marami nga ang natuwa na nakapasok siya sa Top 100 na marami ang umaasa na magtutuloy-tuloy siya sa final cut na Top 30 na rarampa sa September 25.

Pati na ang mga celebrity friends niya ay excited at naggo-goodluck sa kanyang paglaban sa MUP at makuha ang inaasam na korona, tulad nina Iza Calzado, Allan K, Chie Filomeno, Thia Tomalla, Ryzza Mae Dizon at marami pang iba.

Comment naman ni Maureen Montagne na kinoronahan na Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021, “So happy for you Mau! Go get it girly! The universe is yours!”

Bukod kay Maureen, pasok din sa Top 100 sina Kisses Delavin at Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2019 Leren Bautista.

Nag-trending pa MUP teasers nina Kisses at Maureen, na inspired ng one-eye teaser kay Bea Alonzo sa paglipat nito sa Kapuso Network.

Hindi na bago kay Kisses ang pagsali sa beauty pageants dahil nanalo siyang Miss Masbate at Miss Kaogma noong 2016, the same year na sumali siya sa reality TV show na Pinoy Big Brother.

Nanalo rin siya noong 2013 ng Miss Teen Masbate, noong high school, tinanghal naman siyang Miss Teen Campus at Miss Alma Mater. Naging finalist din pala siya ng Miss Teen Earth Philippines.

Ang Laguna beauty queen naman si Leren Mae Bautista ay tinanghal na 2nd runner-up sa Miss Globe 2019. Noong 2015, nakuha rin niya ang korona bilang Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International at Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International.

In-announce naman ni MUP National Director Shamcey Supsup–Lee ang theme para 2021 edition, na “Inspire You.”
