Nagtapos na ang limited guest engagement: VINA, isa nang legit na ‘broadway actor’ dahil sa ‘Here Lies Love’

NATAPOS na nga ang limited guest engagement ni Vina Morales bilang Aurora Aquino sa hit Broadway musical na “Here Lies Love” last Sunday, October 22.
Sa kanyang IG account, nagpaalam si Vina sa musical noong Lunes, October 23, nang mag-upload niya ang isang video kuha sa loob ng kanyang dressing room.
May caption ito ng, “I am humbled, inspired, grateful, thankful for this amazing blessing! I can finally say that I am a Broadway actor. Been in show business for years and this one is for the books!
“Not only because It’s a dream come true but I get to work with these amazing talented people! Thank you my @herelieslovebway family for being so kind to me and to everyone!
“I thanked all the people who’s been a part of this journey! You know who you are! I will definitely miss you all!”
Bandang dulo ng kanyang post, “VINA MORALES as AURORA AQUINO! Signing off! I love you all!”
Naka-31 shows din si Vina na kung saan nagsimula siya noong September 22.
Sa New York City na rin inabutan ng kanyang birthday last October 17 at nag-celebrate siya kasama ng cast ng “Here Lies Love.”
Bukod nga sa kanyang special day, minarkahan din nila ang ika-100 palabas ng naturang broadway musical.

Si Lea Salonga naman ang original gumanap sa papel ni Aurora Aquino sa “Here Lies Love” na isang disco-pop musical na based sa concept music album ni David Byrne na inspired ng kanyang research sa buhay ni former First Lady Imelda Marcos.
At ang makasaysayang debut nito sa Broadway ay nagsimula noong July 20 kasama ang isang all-Filipino cast.
Na-extend hanggang August 19 ang performance ni Lea na originally hanggang August 13 lang kanyang limited guest engagement.
