Nakakuha na naman ng bagong achievements: TAYLOR SWIFT, isa sa People’s ‘Most Intriguing People of the Year’ at Forbes ‘Top 5 Most Powerful Women’

ISA nang ganap na abogado ang OPM singer-songwriter na si Jimmy Bondoc. 

 

 

Kasama si Jimmy sa 3,812 na pumasa sa 2023 Bar Examinations na nilabas ng Supreme Court noong nakaraang Martes, December 6.

 

 

Taong 2017 noong magsimula si Jimmy ng kanyang pag-aaral ng law sa San Beda University. Tinuloy niya ito noong 2019 sa  University of the East. Nagtapos muna ng Bachelor of Arts in Communications si Jimmy sa kanyang alma mater na Ateneo de Manila University.

 

 

Nabanggit noon ng 48-year old singer-turned-lawyer na bata pa lang siya ay pangarap na niyag maging isang abogado. Pero naging busy siya sa kanyang career bilang isang singer and songwriter.

 

 

Si Jimmy ang umawit at nagsulat ng 2004 OPM hit single na “Let Me Be The One”. Ang iba pa niyang singles ay “I Believe”, “The Man I Was With You, Akin Na Lang Sana”, “Wish You Were Mine”, “Forever More”, “Grow Old With You”, “Hanggang Dito Na Lang” and “Don’t Give Up On Us”.

 

 

Ang mga na-release niyang albums ay Jimmy Bondoc (2000), Musikero (2004), Undercovers (2005), Walang Araw, Walang Ulan (2008). Nakasama rin siya sa mga albums na Only Selfless Love (2003) at Last Year’s Christmas (2003).

 

 

In 2016, na-appoint si Jimmy sa iba’t ibang posisyon sa Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR): vice president for corporate social responsibility, assistant vice president of the Entertainment Department, and member of the board of directors.

 

 

Naging resident juror si Jimmy ng ‘Twist and Shout’, ang Philippine adapation ng ‘Sing If I Can’ franchise, sa ABS-CBN noong 2010.

 

 

Naging radio host din si Jimmy ng The RnB Show at 97.9 Natural (now known as 97.9 Home Radio) with Duncan Ramos noong 2014.

 

 

Nakasama naman niya sa bandang Sabado Boys sina DJ Myke Salomon, Thor Dulay, Luke Mejares and Paolo Santos. Nagkaroon sila ng weekly musical show mula 2006 hanggang 2014 sa networks na RPN-9, Studio 23 at TV5.

EXCITED si Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez na mapanood ang na si Michelle Marquez Dee sa action teleserye ng GMA na ‘Black Rider.’

 

 

Sa naganap na Homecoming Media Conference ni Miss Universe PH 2023 last week, inanunsyo nito ang pagpasok niya sa action teleserye ni Ruru Madrid.

 

 

“Ang ganda nga kasi bagay sa kanya ang action eh. Sa totoo lang, dahil meron siyang background ng martial arts so yes, bagay sa kanya,” sey ni Melanie na nagbida rin noon sa isang action movie noong 1981 na ang titulo ay ‘Rosang Tatak’.

 

 

Tinanong din si Melanie tungkol sa posibilidad na pasukin din ng kanyang bunsong anak nq si Abraham “Abe” Lawyer ang showbiz.

 

 

Nakapag-guest at na-interview na si Abraham sa ilang talk shows sa GMA at dahil guwapo at matangkad ito, future leading man ang dating nito sa maraming netizens.

 

 

“Susubukan niya siguro ‘yan. Hindi ko kasi sinasabihan ang mga anak ko kung ano’ng gagawin sa buhay basta sabi ko sa kanila, the secret to success is you have to be dedicated, happy of what you’re doing para hindi ka madaling mapagod,” payo pa ni Mommy Melanie.

MULING nakakuha ng bagong achievement si Taylor Swift after siyang mahirang na bilang isa sa People’s Most Intriguing People of the Year at Forbes’s Top 5 Most Powerful Women.

 

 

Napili ang Anti-Hero singer bilang Time Magazine’s Person of the Year.

 

 

“This is the proudest and happiest I’ve ever felt,” sey ng 33-year old singer-songwriter.

 

 

Ayon sa Time: “The award goes to an event or person deemed to have had the most influence on global events over the past year.”

*The Eras tour film became the biggest concert movie of all time, taking $249m (£197m) at the global box office.
