NAVOTAS NAGSIMULA NA SA PAYOUT NG PONDO NG LGU PARA SA ECQ AYUDA

Sinimulan na ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Navotas ang payout ng enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) cash assistance na mula sa pondo ng lungsod.
Nasa 3,407 Navoteño families ang nakatanggap ng P1,000-P4,000 mula sa P32-milyon na pondo ng lungsod na ibinalik na budget mula sa various offices.
“The P32-million will cover the ECQ ayuda of 10,233 families waitlisted in the Social Amelioration Program. We intend to finish the distribution of the cash aid before the May 15 deadline,” ani Mayor Toby Tiangco.
Ang Navotas ay nakatanggap ng P199,871,000 mula sa national government. Mula sa halagang ito, namahagi ang lungsod ng P181,234,000 sa 55,865 na pamilya.
Ang mga beneficiary na hindi nagawang i-claim ang kanilang cash aid ay bibigyan ng magkakahiwalay na iskedyul ng payout.
“The city government will also cover the ECQ ayuda of 2,690 persons with disability and 592 solo parents. The P3.2 million needed for this will be sourced from our Gender and Development Fund,” paliwanag ni Tiangco.
“Times are hard. Many families have members who have lost their jobs or livelihood. Our people can rest assured that our city government is doing its utmost to support them and provide their needs,” sabi niya. (Richard Mesa)
