PBBM, imbitado sa WEF sa Switzerland sa Enero 2023

INIMBITAHAN si Pangulong  Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa World Economic Forum (WEF) sa Switzerland sa Enero  2023.

Ang imbitasyon ay ipinarating kay  Pangulong Marcos ni WEF founder at executive chairperson Klaus Schwab  sa isinagawang breakfast meeting sa Phom Penh, Cambodia, araw ng Sabado, ayon kay Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil, Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS).

“World Economic Forum founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab today invited President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to the WEF in Davos, Switzerland on Jan. 16 to 20, 2023. Schwab made the invitation in a breakfast meeting with President Marcos,” ayon kay Garafil sa isang kalatas.

Pinuri ni Schwab si Pangulong Marcos para sa tila malakas na  Philippine economy sa kabila ng nananaig na  coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic at global challenges.

Sinabihan nito si Pangulong Marcos na dumalo sa WEF at hinikayat ang mas maraming business leaders na mamuhunan sa bansa.

“Schwab told Marcos his attendance to the WEF serves as a good opportunity to let the global business community know about the dynamism and positive developments happening in the Philippines in a bid to attract more investors,” ang wika ni Garafil. (Daris Jose)
