PBBM, pinuri ang pinakamataas na Pag-IBIG dividend rates simula pandemya, pumalo sa 6.53% para sa regular savings, 7.03% para sa MP2

PINURI ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.  ang Pag-IBIG Fund para sa pinakamataas na dividend rates na naitala nito simula  ng Covid-19 pandemic.

Naitala na ang  regular savings ay tumaas ng 6.53% habang ang  Modified Pag-IBIG 2 Savings (MP2) ay mayroong 7.03% na pagtaas para sa taong  2022.

Ang pinakamataas na dividend rates ang siyang “highlight” ng Annual Report ng Pag-IBIG Fund Chairman na inihayag nito sa kanyang talumpati sa isinagawang pagtitipon  ng mga agency members, partners at stakeholders sa  SMX Convention Center, araw ng Martes, Marso 28.

Let me thank all of you, the members who are the owners of Pag-IBIG Fund, including concerned housing developers, partners, and other key stakeholders who have been instrumental in fulfilling the Pag-IBIG Fund’s mandate, of serving the Filipino workforce,” ayon sa Pangulo.

“As the Pag-IBIG Fund was established under the presidency of my father, I look forward to your efforts in continuing his legacy of quality public service into the future. I urge you to sustain the transparency and accountability in all the work that you do. Thus, we are able to maintain the public’s renewed trust in government. Let us ensure that the Pag-IBIG Fund remains at the forefront of fulfilling our peoples’ aspirations,” dagdag na wika ng Pangulo.

Inihayag ng Pag-IBIG Fund  na ang 2022 ang “best performing year” kung saan ang  net income  ng ahensiya ay umabot sa record high  na P44.50 billion,  28% na pagtaas mula sa P34.69 bilyon noong 2021.

Iniulat din ng ahensiya ang ilang record high figures para sa taon, may home loans  na umabot sa P117.85 billion;  kabuuang  membership savings na nakolekta ay umabot sa  P79.90 billion at ang  loan payments naman ay umabot sa P127.42 billion.

Tinulunan din ng national savings program ang pinakamataas na bilang ng mga miyembro na may 105,212 ang nakakuha ng bagng bahay mula sa housing loan programs ng Pag-IBIG at mahigit sa 2.61 million an natulungan sa pamamagitan ng  short-term loans nito.

Tinapos naman ng ahensiya ang taon na may “total assets” na P827.40 billion.

Sa kabilang dako, ipinaliwanag naman ni Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar ng  Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), isa rin sa pinuno ng 11-member Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, na ang dividend rates ay resulta ng record-high net income ng ahensiya kasama ang  highest dividend payout ratio n inapubahan ng Pag-IBIG Board.

Ani Acuzar, habang ang ahensiya ay required  na ibalik sa mga miyembro ang 70% ng annual net income bilang  dividends,  inaprubahan ng  Pag-IBIG Board  ang 97 percent payout ratio, nagresulta ng  dividend amount na P42.70 billion –  itinuturing na pinakamataas sa kasaysayan  ng ahensiya.

With Pag-IBIG Fund capably led by its CEO ‘Manang’ Malen Acosta having its best performing year in 2022, we were able to declare the highest amount of dividends for our members’ savings in our 42-year history,” ayon kay Acuzar.
