Pinas, malapit na sa target na bakunahan ang 50% ng populasyon- PDu30

“On track” ang Pilipinas na makamit ang target nito na bakunahan ang 50% ng general population bago matapos ang taon.

Ipinagmalaki ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa kanyang Talk to the People, Miyerkules ng umaga ang tagumpay ng pamahalaan na makamit ang nilalayon nito na makapagturok ng 55 milyong doses ng coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccine noong Oktubre.

Para sa Pangulo, ang tagumpay ng pinaigting na vaccination drive ng gobyerno ay dahil sa delivery ng Covid-19 vaccines na “came in droves.”

“I am happy to report that we exceeded our target of 55 million doses to be administered in October,” ayon sa Pangulo.

“As of Tuesday, a total of 60,406,424 Covid-19 vaccine shots have been administered nationwide, according to the government’s National Covid-19 Vaccination Dashboard uploaded on the official website of the Department of Health,” ayon sa ulat.

Tinatayang 27,749,809 indibidwal ang fully vaccinated, habang 32,656,615 iba pa ay nakatanggap naman ng kanilang first vaccine jab.

Kumpiyansa naman si Pangulong Duterte na makakamit ng gobyerno ang population protection bago matapos ang taon.

“Around 35.5 percent of the target population have already been fully vaccinated which puts us well on our way to achieving the target of at least 50 percent by the end of the year,” aniya pa rin. (Daris Jose)
