Pasok na sa quarterfinals ng US Open si Karolina Pliskova.
Ito ay matapos na talunin si Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova ng Russia sa score na 7-5, 6-4.
Sa unang set pa lamang ay hawak na dominado na ng Czech player ang laro.
Mayroong kabuuang 58 aces ang kaniyang nagawa sa laro.
Magugunitang nabigo si Pliskova sa Madrid Open ngayon taon at 2020 Australian Open.
Susunod na makakaharap nito ang sinumang magwawagi sa pagitan nina Maria Sakkari ng Greece at Bianc Andreescu ng Canada.
