‘Raya & The Last Dragon’ Trailer Teases Epic Battles, a Con-Baby and Sisu!

THE upcoming Disney animated adventure which brings Southeast Asian culture into the spotlight, Raya and The Last Dragon, has just released a new trailer!
If the first teaser got us excited with Raya wielding arnis sticks in an espionage mission, this full trailer gives us more details on her journey– how Disney’s new protagonist will unite the people of her land through the help of the last dragon.

In this trailer, not only do we get a clear look at the “Last Dragon”, it also teased Raya’s ragtag bunch of individuals (including a con-baby!) who will help her in her mission, and some epic fight scenes against her stalking foes. And it looks like this new Disney film will be packed with action!
The film Raya and The Last Dragon is set in the fantasy world of Kumandra where humans and dragons once lived together in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons had to sacrifice themselves to save humanity. Five hundred years later, that evil has returned and the lone warrior Raya must step up and find the fabled last dragon to save her land.
Directed by Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada, this film features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, and Awkwafina as the last dragon Sisu. (ROHN ROMULO)
