Senado binigyang pagkilala ang tagumpay ng Powerlifter ng bansa sa 2022 Southeast Asian Cup

Binigyang kilala ng senado ang Powerlifting Association of the Philippines dahil sa paghakot nila ng mga medalya sa katatapos na 2022 Southeast Asian Cup sa Malaysia.
Sinabi ni Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva na mayroong kabuuang 78 medalya ang kabuuang nakuha ng Pilipinas.
Sa nasabing bilan ay mayroong 23 gold medals, 13 silver medals at 13 bronze medals ang nakuha ng men’s team.
Habang ang women’s team ay mayroong 21 gold medals, apat na silver medals at apat na bronze medals.
Bukod pa dito ay mayroong 10 bagong Asian records ang nakamit ng Pilipinas.
Ang mga atletang kinilala ng senado ay sina: Rafael Renzo Cahilig, Nestor Redulla Jr., Francis Oliver Retardo, Emilio Lorenzo Florendo, James Emmanuel Sy, Ross Emanuel Teodosio, Maphi Daniel Polvora, Jalen Cytienne Cruz, Lance Gabriel Laquian, Rhodison Jay Esmundo, Merwin Torres, Joyce Gail Reboton, Ma.
