Tate, Vera ONE FC Ambassadors

NAGBIGAY pugay at inspirasyon sa tropa ng Amerikano sina dating UFC women’s bantamweight champion at current ONE Championship Vice President Miesha Tate at ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera sa Andersen Air Force Base sa Guam.

Isinagawa ang pagbisita sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa United Service Organizations (USO) bilang pagbibigay kahalagahan sa nagawa ng ONE sa mga miyembro ng US troops na malayo sa kani-kanilang mga pamilya.

Kapwa itinalagang MMA Ambassador ang dalawa ng ONE FC.

“This trip has been spectacular. We love to do this stuff for the military. It’s so cool to see their faces light up for a second after so much sacrifice that they do,” sambit ni Tate. “I got to go on a submarine, which literally blew my mind. I have so much more respect for what they do, if that’s even possible. To go in that tiny submarine and spend all that time they have to spend there, and the dedication they have to stay on point and defend our country it’s just crazy.”

Nagsagawa ng meet-and-greet ang dalawang martial arts superstars at pinasyalan ang Air Force Base at Naval Base at Andersen para makiisa sa mha miyembro ng tropa.

“It’s my first time in Guam, so for me it’s like a new experience. I love it so much I want to come back,” sambit ni Tate. “I love to be able to meet the troops and just show them our gratitude. Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for everything that you do. It means a lot, the sacrifice you are willing to give if necessary to protect what we enjoy on an everyday basis.”

Ikinalugod naman ni Vera ang mga programa na isinasagawa ng US para masiguro ang kapayapaan sa rehiyon at sa buong mundo.

“You hear these stories and you’re almost crying because it’s about passion, and family, and about connecting with each other and staying connected and helping each other,” pahayag ni Vera.

Naging miyembro si Vera ng United States Air Force mula 1997 hanggang 1999. Dito nagsimula an gkanyang career sa wrestling team at naging isang malaking pangalan sa mixed martial arts.

Sa kasalukuyan, si Vera ang longest running World Champion ng ONE.
