‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Continues To Dominate At The Box Office, On Track To Surpass ‘Jurassic World’

TOP Gun: Maverick continues to dominate at the box office and is now on track to surpass the domestic total of 2015’s Jurassic World.

Coming more than 35 years after the release of the original Top Gun, the Joseph Kosinski-directed sequel sees the return of Tom Cruise’s hotshot pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. The film sees Maverick in a leadership role this time around, training a new batch of Top Gun recruits for a dangerous mission over enemy territory.

Top Gun: Maverick had a strong opening weekend box office haul when it hit theaters in May, but the film has continued to perform well even months later.
