Wagi ng Audience Choice Award sa Soho International Film Festival: KC, happy and proud sa kanyang first international film na ‘Asian Persuasion’

HAPPY and proud si KC Concepcion dahil ang kanyang first international film na “Asian Persuasion” ay nagwagi ng Audience Choice Award sa Soho International Film Festival.
“Out of over 100 film entries at the Soho Film Fest, ‘Asian Persuasion’ won the AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD for full-length feature! Ang saya,” ayon sa Instagram post ni KC.
Dagdag pa niya, “Congratulations to our director, and three-time Tony Award winning producer Jhett Tolentino – and big love to the entire production!”
Pinost ni KC ang photos and videos na kuha sa red carpet ng awarding ceremony, kasama ang trophy at cast and crew.
Ang “Asian Persuasion” ay ang film about an underachiever who comes up with an outlandish plan to avoid alimony obligations to his fashion executive ex-wife. Ito ang directorial debut ni Jhett Tolentino, ang “Asian Persuasion” ay isa lang sa two Filipino films na pinalabas sa Soho International Film Fest.
Samantala, ang dalawa pang films ba “Man of the Sea” and “Velvet Sky” — directed by Fil-Ams ay pinalabas din sa naturang film fest.
Bukod kay KC, bida rin sa “Asian Persuasion” sina Dante Basco (“The Fabulous Filipino Brothers”), Kevin Kreider (“Bling Empire”), Paolo Montalban (“Mortal Kombat: Conquest”), Scarlett Sher (“Hustlers”), Celia Au (“Wu Assassins”), Geneva Carr (CBS’s “Bull”), at Jax Bacani.

NAG-BIRTHDAY si Pia Wurtzbach last Sunday at ang sweet ng pagbati ng kanyang husband na si Jeremy Jauncey sa social media.
Kasama ang kanilang sweet photo, at ito ang kanilang first big event together, mula ng magpakasal.
“A best selling book, growing businesses, film festivals, fashion weeks and a very special wedding,” ayon sa founder ng Beautiful Destinations began.

Ang dalawa ay nagpakasal sa isang lihim na seremonya sa isang liblib na isla sa Seychelles noong Marso at nagpatuloy ang kanilang long-distance relationship.
Earlier this month, nag-launch ng first book si Pia, ang “Queen of the Universe: Dreams do Come True” sa Manila International Bool Fair earlier this month.
Sa kanyang Instagram, pinakita ni Jeremy sa followers niya ang sneak peek ng pet name niya kay Pia.
“Happy birthday baby, what a year you’ve had,” sabi niya.
Nagpasalamat naman si Pia sa kanyang asawa, “I miss you and wish you were here!”
