PERSONAL na in-unveil ni Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray ang kanyang first ever wax figure sa Madame Tussauds Singapore.

Ibinahagi nga ng Pinay beauty queen ang couple of photos with her wax figure, na kung saan makikitang suot ang kanyang signature Mayon Volcano-inspired gown at ang ‘Alab at Dangal’ ear cuff.

Caption niya sa IG post, “Who’s that girl.  “What a surreal moment to (FINALLY!) launch my very own wax figure at @mtssingapore after 3 years! Kiliiiig akoooo!

“I’m so honored and flattered to be the only Filipino wax figure here in MT Singapore!”

Sabi pa ni Queen Cat, “Also for those that are curious! @maktumang created an ah-mazing replica lava gown! The small differences on the neck line are to hide the “seams” where the head of the wax figure fit onto the body! The lava gowns mesh base presented a challenge but Mak masterfully worked around these!”

Dagdag pa niya, “We chose the “final walk” look from @missuniverse sans MU sash and crown, because the interactive concept is to “LavaWalk” with me.  Also as the only Filipino in MT Singapore, it brings me so much pride to have the PHILIPPINES sash front and center.”

Say pa ni Catriona, “Feeling strong in this beautiful creation by @jaggyglarino. This metal assemblage dress is inspired by an exhibition entitled Philippine Gold: Treasures of Forgotten Kingdoms which featured priceless golden artifacts found in Agusan, Philippines.

“Intricate gold accessories, figurines and other items are very telling of the sophisticated cultural core and the rich pre colonial history of the Philippines.”

Isa sa nga unang nag-congratulate kay Catriona si Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, ang first Filipina na nagkaroon ng wax figure, na naka-exhibit naman sa Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
