KAABANG-ABANG sa Online 36th Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Rookie Draft 2021 sa parating na Marso 14 si James Laput.
May mensahe agad siyang pinarating kay six-time league Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo ng San Miguel Beer na halos singtaas niya – 6-10 ang sentro ng Beermen, 6-9 si Laput.
“My idol is June Mar [Fajardo] and I want to play against him. That has been my dream. It’s like Kobe (Bryant) wanting to play against MJ (Michael Jordan). I want to do that. I want to battle June Mar. So I just hope I won’t be drafted by the team where Jun Mar plays. Mensahe niya sa huhugot sa kanyang koponan aniya’y kailangan talaga ang kanyang serbisyo.
“I just wanted to be with a team that sorely needs a big man.. maybe a team like Meralco or Magnolia. I think it would be fun to be able to play with those teams and learn from the veterans, and at the same time do what I need to do to help the team.”
Aber abngan po natin mga giliw kong mambabasa kung may ibubuga si Laput kapag nabunot siya at magbukas ang 46th PBA 2021 Philippine Cup sa Abril 9.(REC)
