Duterte binigyan na si Avisado ng otoridad para sa release ng Bayanihan 2 funds

KINUMPIRMA ng Malacañang na binigyan na ng delegated authority ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Budget Sec. Wendel Avisado na ilabas na ang P51 billion pondo sa Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2).

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, mailalabas ang pondo ngayong araw at hindi na ito dadaan sa Office of the Executive Secretary.

Ayon kay Sec. Roque, kabilang sa mga inaprubahan na ni Sec. Avisado ang P100 million na pondo sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) para sa shared service facilities para sa “Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa” program; P5 billion augmentation fund ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Framework (NDRRMF) fund; P8 billion Camp Tupad program ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); P6 na billion ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) para sa assistance for individuals in crisis situation and sustainable livelihood program.

Inaprubahan na rin ang release ng P11.62 billion ng Department of Agriculture (DA) para sa Plant, Plant, Plant program; P20.575 billion para sa health-related responses ng Department of Health (DOH); P5.1 billion para sa AKAP program ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at P500 million para sa local government support.

Aabot sa P140 billion at P25 billion standby fund ang nakapaloob sa Bayanihan 2 bilang pagresponde ng pamahalaan sa COVID-19 pandemic.

“Mas mabuti po ang ginawa ng Presidente. Binigyan niya po ng delegated authority si DBM Sec. Avisado para mag-approve na ng release para hindi na po yan daraan sa Office of the Executive Secretary. Alinsunod po dito, meron pitong Departamento na mari- releasan ng pondo ngayon galing sa Bayanihan 2,” ani Sec. Roque.
