Nagwagi ng gold medal sa Philippine pole vaulter Ernest John Obiena sa Folksam Athletics Grand Prix na ginanap sa Gothenburg, Sweden.
Naging malinis ang performance nito sa 5.70 meters sa unang attempt nito.
Tinalo nito si defending Brazilian Olympic gold medalist Thiago Braz.
Mayroon pang dalawang torneo na sasalihan ang 25-anyos Southeast Asian Games gold medalist bago ang pagsabak nito sa Tokyo Olympics.
