Mikey Garcia, napupusuan ni Pacquiao bilang susunod na katunggali – Roach

Ibinunyag ni Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach na napipisil umano ni Sen. Manny Pacquiao na makatunggali sa susunod nitong laban ang dating world champion na si Mikey Garcia.
Ayon kay Roach, may posibilidad din daw na mangyari ang nasabing laban sa Estados Unidos o sa Saudi Arabia.
“He will fight again, I feel, and from when I’ve talked to him, he wants to fight once or twice more,” wika ni Roach. “But the thing is, it could be anywhere from the U.S. to Saudi Arabia, anywhere. They were talking about Mikey Garcia and I said, ‘Yeah, that’s the perfect fight for Manny.’ But I don’t think we’ll really know until this [pandemic] is over.”
Una nang sinabi ni Roach na wala pa raw itinatakdang timeline ang kampo ng Fighting Senator sa kung kailan ito makakabalik sa ibabaw ng ring.
Masyado aniyang focus si Pacquiao sa kanyang trabaho bilang senador lalo pa’t humaharap din ang Pilipinas sa COVID-19 crisis.
Samantala, bagama’t pabor si Roach sa harapang Pacquiao-Garcia, malaki rin daw ang tsansa na harapin din ng Pinoy ring icon ang mga top welterweights gaya nina Shawn Porter at WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford.
