National govt, mapipilitang gumamit ng puwersa laban sa mga taong magpipilit na ihiwalay ang Mindanao sa Pinas

MAPIPILITAN ang national government na gumamit ng kapangyarihan at puwersa laban sa mga taong magtatangka na ihiwalay ang Mindanao mula sa Pilipinas gaya ng ipinanawagan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

“The National Government will not hesitate to use its authority and forces to quell and stop any and all attempts to dismember the Republic,” ayon kay National Security Adviser Secretary Eduardo Año.

“Any attempt to secede any part of the Philippines will be met by the government with resolute force, as it remains steadfast in securing the sovereignty and integrity of the national territory,” diing pahayag ni Año.

Binigyang-diin ni Año ang kahalagahan ng “national unity, security and stability” sabay sabing ang panawagan na dibisyon o paghahatid sa bansa ay “only serve to undermine our collective progress and prosperity.”

“The strength of our country lies in our unity and any attempt to sow division must be rejected by all sectors unequivocally,” ani Año.

Si Año ay nagsilbing Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff at Kalihim ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa ilalim ng administrasyong Duterte.

“It is imperative for all Filipinos to uphold the principles enshrined in our Constitution which espouses the unity and territorial integrity of our nation. Any suggestion of secession not only runs counter to the Constitution but also threatens to undo the hard-won gains of peace and development, particularly in Mindanao,” ayon pa rin kay Año.

Noong nakaraang linggo, inihirit ni Digong Duterte ang paghiwalay ng Mindanao sa Pilipinas.

Sa pulong balitaan sa Davao, sinabi ng dating Pangulo na ito ay maisasagawa sa pamamagitan nang pagkalap ng mga pirma.

Kasabay naman ng panawagan ni Digong dumistansya ang mga senador sa plano na isulong ang paghihiwalay ng Mindanao sa Pilipinas. (Daris Jose)
