Mga senador sa DBM: Dalian ang pamamahagi ng Bayanihan 2 fund

KINALAMPAG ng mga senador ang Department of Budget and Management na ipamahagi agad ang pondo mula sa Bayanihan to Recover as One Act o Bayanihan 2.

“We urgently call on the DBM (Department of Budget and Management) to immediately issue the necessary Special Allotment Release Orders to all implementing agencies, even pending the issuance of their respective guidelines,” ayon sa opisyal na pahayag ng senado.

“Likewise, we call on all the implementing agencies to fast-track their submission of the required budget execution documents to further facilitate the release of said funds,” dagdag nito.

Ayon sa mga senador, P4.4 bilyon pa lamang o 3.2 porsyento ng P140 bilyon ang naipamahagi ng DBM sa mga ahensya.

Ito ay sa:

-P2.52 billion sa Department of the Interior and Local Government

-P855.19 million sa Office of Civil Defense;

– P215.48 million sa Bureau of Treasury; at,

– P820 million sa Department of Foreign Affairs

Ito ay matapos sabihin ng sektor ng agrikultura at turismo na hindi pa ibinibigay ng DBM ang kaukulang pondo mula sa nasabing batas sa isang deliberasyon sa senado.
