Inaprubahan ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Navotas ang walk-in vaccination para mapabilis ang pagbibigay ng Coronavirus Disease vaccine.

Inanunsyo ni Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco na ang mga residente na may edad na 18 hanggang 59 na may comorbidities ay maaari sa walk in vaccination sa Kaunlaran High School.

“We did a trial yesterday and we were able to inoculate 244 of the 300 target vaccinees. We were glad of this turnout and decided to implement the system in three other vaccination sites”, ani Mayor Tiangco.

Sinabi naman ni Tiangco na nakatanggap ng mga mensahe ang kanilang tanggapan mula sa mga residente na gustong-gusto ng mabakunahan subalit wala pang mga natatanggap na schedule.

“By offering a walk-in system, those eligible and interested could avail of the vaccine at the soonest and as of now, we have four vaccination sites. Three can accommodate 300 scheduled vaccinees and 150 walk-ins. One is solely for 300 walk-ins”, dagdag pa ng alkalde.

Hinikayat naman ni Tiangco na ang may gusto na makatanggap ng bakuna ay kailangan magparehistro sa https://covax.navotas.gov.ph/.

“We can accept only those listed in our NavoBakuna COVID-19 vaccination program. This is why we always remind the public to have themselves registered, including all their family members aged 18 and above”, paliwanag ni Tiangco. (Richard Mesa)
