ISANG pakikiramay sa actress/director na si Bela Padilla sa pagpanaw ng kanyang ama, ang British National na si Cornelio Sullivan.

Ipinost ni Bela ang mahaba niyang message sa kanyang Instaram account, kasabay ang mga larawan na kasama niya ito mula bata.

Ayon kay Bela, her father was able to lived life to the fullest. Evident din base sa kanyang caption ang hilig nito sa pagta-travel at sa music.

Ayon kay Bela, “Life really is a series of highs and lows.

“Our dad passed away last night in his sleep and that is my only consolation in all of this. He wasn’t in pain and he hopefully was dreaming of the happy times in his life.

“My sister, Ceri, told me the most beautiful thing last night… my dad loved us, his children, deeply. And he also loved himself. And that certainly is true. My dad loved life and lived his life to the fullest he could. He always knew where all the cool places were in any country he was in and the bands in bars loved him because he always sang along.

“I love the water and I dive deeply because he taught me to swim and be fearless in the water at such an early age. His ability to see a problem and think of several solutions first before reacting is something I try to practice. He never took no for an answer when he believed something was right and he made sure that everybody knew what “right” was. I never saw him upset…or lose his cool. Never saw him get angry or mad at anybody (in front of me). He was very empathetic but still madly funny. And he gave the best hugs, never letting go first.

“I will always wish for one more day, but that would be unfair. For now, and until paradise comes, the memories will tide us over.”

MARAMING mga kapwa niya celebrities at beauty queens ang naging proud sa isa sa cast ng GMA Primetime series na ‘Royal Blood’ na si Rabiya Mateo.

Ang dahilan, ang ipinost niyang bahay at sasakyan na nagawa niyang ma-achieve para sa kanyang sarili, higit sa kanyang pamilya. Sa Iloilo, kunsaan ay hometown ni Rabiya siya nagpundar ng bahay.

Sa kanyang Instagram post, sinabi ng ani Rabiya ang power of manifestation daw talaga.

“Power of manifestation. With my first car and first house. Three years ago this seems to be imposible but this is the result of countless prayers and hard work. Reminding everyone, not to be scared to dream big.”

Ang boyfriend na si Jeric Gonzales naman ang pinaka-proud sa lahat. Sey niya sa girlfriend, “Proud of you always baby! Excited for more.”

MATAPOS mabalita ang recent breakup ni Yassi Pressman with her ex-fiance na si Jon Semira, lumabas naman ang balitang ‘she’s spending more time’ with Camarines Sur Governor Luigi Villafuerte. 

Hindi naman ito itinanggi ni Yassi, ayon sa kanya, “me and Luigi have known each other for a very long time, parang 10 years na kaming magkakilala.”

Ayon pa sa interview sa kanya ng “24 Oras” sa GMA-7, “So now, we’re just spending more time together and getting to know each other more.”

Hindi na nagsalita pa si Yassi tungkol sa kanyang ex-bf.

“Bilang tao, meron pa rin pong mga bagay na we wanted to keep private, pero ok lang – me and the people involved, lahat kami maayos at nag-uusap pa rin hanggang ngayon,” dagdag pa ni Yassi.

Busy ngayon si Yassi, dahil muli siyang bumalik sa GMA Network at nagti-training para sa mga action scenes, as the leading lady ni Ruru Madrid, sa upcoming action teleserye na “Black Rider.”

Makakasama nila rito sina Matteo Guidicelli (sa first teleserye nito sa GMA), Katrina Halili, Jon Lucas, ang nagbabalik GMA actors na sina Rainier Castillo at Joshua Dionisio, Raymond Bagatsing, Raymart Santiago, Rio Locsin, Gladys Reyes at marami pang iba.

“NAKAPILA ang mga ginagawa naming pelikula sa GMA Films sa kasalukuyan,” pahayag ni Ms. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President of GMA Network and President/CEO of GMA Films.

“Umaasa kaming babalik na ang mga manonood sa sinehan.

“Ang dami naming ginagawang movies actually, yung movie ni Alden (Richards) and Julia Montes na ‘Five Break-Ups and A Romance,’ excited na kami doon, napanood na namin, napakaganda, napakahusay nilang dalawa.

“Meron din kami, itong joint venture namin with Viva Films, ang ‘Video City’ starring Ruru Madrid and Yassi Pressman. Naiiba ito dahil ang set nito is in the ‘90’s era kaya ang cute rin niyang panoorin.

“Meron pa kaming ginagawa na “Firefly” na sana ay para sa Metro Manila Film Festival. It’s a family-oriented movie na very heartwarming na may touch of fantasy.

“Gagawa rin kami ng isang horror movie with Barbie Forteza. Meron pa kaming isa pang pinaplano for Alden, hindi pa lamang naming ma-reveal kung sino yung leading lady but it’s also a very big project.

“So, marami kaming ginagawang movies ngayon, and hopefully sana ay tangkilikin na ulit ng mga manonood ang local mvoies natin sa theaters.”

BUSY pala ngayong naghahanda si actress-host Anne Curtis for her forthcoming action film.

After training in the Filipino martial art Sayoc three months ago, ipinakita na ni Anne sa social media ang pagsali niya sa isang bootcamp training: “Sir, yes, sir. Bootcamp done.  Snappy salute at maraming salamat po 201^st Infantry Kabalikat Brigade,” caption ni Anne sa kanyang post.

Ang action film na gagawin ni Anne ay idi-direct ni Erik Matti, na nauna na siyang idinirek nito sa 2018 box office hit na “Buy Bust.”

Ang huli pang movie na ginawa ni Anne ay in the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival, na “The Mall, The Merrier,” kasama ang good friend niyang si Vice Ganda.

Kaya lamang, Anne went on to take an extended showbiz hiatus after that to focus on her pregrancy and eventually becoming a first-time mother to daughter Dahlia.
