KAGULAT-GULAT ang rebelasyon ni Beauty Gonzalez tungkol sa sitwasyon sa pagitan nila ng kanyang ina.

 

 

Naganap sa ‘Fast Talk With Boy Abunda’ ang pahayag ni Beauty tungkol sa ina niyang si Carina Luche na nakatira sa Dumaguete.

 

 

Napaiyak si Beauty bago sinagot ang tanong ng King of Talk na, “I just want to ask you this dahil para maintindihan ng mga nanay, tatay, at Kapuso. Bakit minsan ayaw mong bumalik sa Dumaguete?”

 

 

Lahad ni Beauty , “Honestly, I’m trying to make a good relationship with my mom. So, that’s what I’m working out.

 

 

“I love coming home, you know, things are not always happy.”

 

 

Inihayag rin ni Beauty na isa sa pinakaninanais niyang mangyari ay ang maging maayos ang sitwasyon sa pagitan nilang mag-ina.

 

 

Umiiyak na pagbabahagi ni Beauty, “Lagi ko siyang mina-manifest. Yun ang tinuro sa akin ng monk e, when you wake up in the morning, you tell yourself na, ‘Mom, I love you, Mom, I miss you.”

NAKATUTUWA na makalipas ang pitong taon ay patuloy na napapanood ang pelikulang ‘1st Sem’.

 

 

Unang ipinalabas noong 2016 at pinagbibidahan nina Lotlot de Leon at ng noon ay male newbie na si Darwin Uy, nito lamang Lunes, December 2 ay nagkaroon ang ‘1st Sem’ ng screening sa University of the Philippines Los Banos sa Laguna.

Present rin siyempre ang lead actress na si Lotlot nasa totoo lamang, habang muling pinapanood ang kanilang pelikula ay hindi napigilang maluha sa mga dramatic scenes sa pelikula, lalo na ang eksenang bilang si Precy ay nakaupo siya sa mesa at nagbabalik-tanaw noong nabubuhay pa ang mister niya.

 

 

Sayang nga lamang at hindi nakadalo ang isa pang direktor at writer ng pelikula na si Allan Michael Ibanez dahil may mga inaasikaso ito doon sa Amerika.

 

 

Si Darwin naman ay hindi rin nakarating, abala na yata ito bilang flight attendant ng Philippine Airlines at aktor ng Regal Entertainment at GMA.

 

 

After the screening ay nagkaroon ng mala—question and answer portion ang mga estudyante kina Lotlot at direk Dexter at matapos ito ay ang pagpapalitrato sa dalawa habang panay ang papuri sa pelikula.

 

 

Nasa ‘1st Sem’ rin sina Allan Paule, Miguel Bagtas at Sebastian Vargas Jr. at marami pang iba.

RECTOR JAMES WAN WAS THRILLED TO RETURN TO THE FAMILY OF “AQUAMAN” FOR THE SEQUEL “THE LOST KINGDOM”

FOR director James Wan, one of the highlights of helming the follow-up to the box office smash “Aquaman,” DC’s highest worldwide grossing film of all time, was getting back to work with the creatives, cast and crew that helped make the first film such a success. 

 

 

 

Says Wan, “I was thrilled to return to the family of “Aquaman,” the cast who made these characters so memorable and compelling – Jason [Momoa], Patrick [Wilson], Amber [Heard], Yahya [Abdul-Mateen II] and Nicole [Kidman], alongside our full ensemble – and the creative team who helped build such a striking, unforgettable world. But now, the stakes are much higher and that world is much larger.”

 

 

 

Besides seeing the “Aquaman” family that many have grown to love from the first film, fans can look forward to new worlds in the sequel. “James Wan has an incredible ability to capture the colors and the fantasy that exist in these never-before-seen worlds,” says producer Peter Safran. “I think they are going to be thrilled when they see how different this film looks and feels, while still anchored in all the things they loved from the first movie, dialled up in a way that feels fresh and new.”

 

 

 

Case in point? “James embraced the retro sci-fi look of the Silver Age comics – what, in the ‘50s, they thought the future would look like, we’ve taken and given a modern spin and twist,” teases Safran. “You see this in the ancient Atlantean technology, in the uniforms and weaponry of Manta’s crew, his colossal sub, the one-man Octobots… James really leans in to the look and again, shows us something we’ve never seen. It’s evocative of a certain age, but wholly modern as well.”

 

 

 

Wan’s and Safran’s fellow producer Rob Cowan underscores the epic scale of the sequel. “We were incredibly lucky on ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,’ being able to continue the story we began in a film that the world embraced,” says Cowan. “And on the page, we really had a super-sized project, pulling out all the stops, making everything as big as we could, charting a journey as varying and different as possible through multiple worlds we were visiting for the first time… This film really is something you need to experience inside a big theater with a huge screen… because there’s just so much to look at.”

 

 

 

In “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), having failed to defeat Aquaman (Jason Momoa) the first time and still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm (Patrick Wilson), the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction.

 

 

 

Also starring Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundren and Randall Park, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”  opens exclusively in cinemas December 20.

ISA nang ganap na abogado ang OPM singer-songwriter na si Jimmy Bondoc. 

 

 

Kasama si Jimmy sa 3,812 na pumasa sa 2023 Bar Examinations na nilabas ng Supreme Court noong nakaraang Martes, December 6.

 

 

Taong 2017 noong magsimula si Jimmy ng kanyang pag-aaral ng law sa San Beda University. Tinuloy niya ito noong 2019 sa  University of the East. Nagtapos muna ng Bachelor of Arts in Communications si Jimmy sa kanyang alma mater na Ateneo de Manila University.

 

 

Nabanggit noon ng 48-year old singer-turned-lawyer na bata pa lang siya ay pangarap na niyag maging isang abogado. Pero naging busy siya sa kanyang career bilang isang singer and songwriter.

 

 

Si Jimmy ang umawit at nagsulat ng 2004 OPM hit single na “Let Me Be The One”. Ang iba pa niyang singles ay “I Believe”, “The Man I Was With You, Akin Na Lang Sana”, “Wish You Were Mine”, “Forever More”, “Grow Old With You”, “Hanggang Dito Na Lang” and “Don’t Give Up On Us”.

 

 

Ang mga na-release niyang albums ay Jimmy Bondoc (2000), Musikero (2004), Undercovers (2005), Walang Araw, Walang Ulan (2008). Nakasama rin siya sa mga albums na Only Selfless Love (2003) at Last Year’s Christmas (2003).

 

 

In 2016, na-appoint si Jimmy sa iba’t ibang posisyon sa Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR): vice president for corporate social responsibility, assistant vice president of the Entertainment Department, and member of the board of directors.

 

 

Naging resident juror si Jimmy ng ‘Twist and Shout’, ang Philippine adapation ng ‘Sing If I Can’ franchise, sa ABS-CBN noong 2010.

 

 

Naging radio host din si Jimmy ng The RnB Show at 97.9 Natural (now known as 97.9 Home Radio) with Duncan Ramos noong 2014.

 

 

Nakasama naman niya sa bandang Sabado Boys sina DJ Myke Salomon, Thor Dulay, Luke Mejares and Paolo Santos. Nagkaroon sila ng weekly musical show mula 2006 hanggang 2014 sa networks na RPN-9, Studio 23 at TV5.

Sa naganap na Homecoming Media Conference ni Miss Universe PH 2023 last week, inanunsyo nito ang pagpasok niya sa action teleserye ni Ruru Madrid.

 

 

“Ang ganda nga kasi bagay sa kanya ang action eh. Sa totoo lang, dahil meron siyang background ng martial arts so yes, bagay sa kanya,” sey ni Melanie na nagbida rin noon sa isang action movie noong 1981 na ang titulo ay ‘Rosang Tatak’.

 

 

Tinanong din si Melanie tungkol sa posibilidad na pasukin din ng kanyang bunsong anak nq si Abraham “Abe” Lawyer ang showbiz.

Pagmamahal at pagkakaisa ang mensahe ng pelikula: IMELDA, pinag-aralan talaga ni CLAUDINE kaya pinupuri ang pagganap

NASAKSIHAN namin kung paano napuno na karamihan ay mga ‘loyalista’, ang tatlong sinehan ng SM Megamall sa ginanap na premiere night ng ‘Loyalista: The Untold Story of Imelda Papin.’
Kaya naman walang humpay ang pasasalamat ni Asia’s Sentimental Imelda Papin sa lahat ng sumuporta at tumulong sa kanya na nabuo ang biopic.
Sayang nga lang at hindi nakarating si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa naturang event, dahil sumama raw ang pakiramdam nito.
Nilinaw na rin ni Imelda na walang nilabas na pera ang mga Marcos para sa kanyang movie.
“Wala pong binigay na pera ang pamilya Marcos. Ito po ay ginawa namin ng anak ko, at siyempre nagpapasalamat po ako sa mga kaibigan kong tumulong sa akin.
“Kaya maraming salamat sa mga naniniwala at sa mga artista kasama namin dito. Kami pong mag-ina na si Maffi at siyempre ang pamilya namin na sumuporta, at kayo pong mga kaibigan.

At dahil sa kanyang suporta sa pamilya Marcos, nalagay sa panganib ang buhay at karera ni Papin pagkatapos na patalsikin ang mga Marcos sa Malacanang.
Pinasunod nga siya ni Marcos sa Hawaii para sa kanilang kaligtasan. Mas lalo nga siyang napalapit sa kanyang ninong at ninang.
Pinakita rin sa movie kung paano nagsilbing inspirasyon kay Imelda ang mag-asawang Marcos sa paglilingkod sa sambayanang Pilipino.
Napakahusay ng pagganap ni Claudine Barretto bilang Imelda Papin, kasama sina Gary Estrada bilang Bong Carrion, ER Ejercito bilang  Marcos, Sr., at si Alice Dixon as former first lady Imelda Marcos na pinupuri din ang pagganap.
Kasama rin sa cast ang daughter ni Imelda na si Maffi Papin as herself.
Ginawa raw ang pelikula upang ipagdiwang ang ika-45 taon ni Imelda Papin sa industriya at inabot ng isang taon ang paggawa nito dahil sa matinding researches na .
Ayon naman kay Claudine na dalang-dalang sa pagganap sa sikat na mang-aawit at pulitiko.
“Ang galing ng istorya niya e. Grabe ang loyalty niya talaga. Makikita mo rin na maaawa ka talaga sa mga Marcos.
“Sabi ko kay direk Gabby Ramos, I need to spend time with Imelda. Gustung-gusto ko siyang gayahin na siyang-siya talaga.”
Samantala sa buwang ito, marami pang naka-line up na special screening tulad sa Resorts World sa December 16, sa La Union sa December 17, sa SM Naga City sa December 23, sa Samar sa December 26 at sa Bohol sa December 28.
Ayon kay Tita Aster Amoyo, inaayos na rin nila ang screening sa Japan and hopefully sa Hawaii, na kung saan hinihintay ito na mapanood ng ating mga kababayan.
