145 mga bagong athletic scholars ng Navotas
NAVOTAS TINANGGAP ANG 145 BAGONG ATHLETIC SCHOLARS
NAGBIGAY ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Navotas ng scholarship sa may 145 Navoteño elementary at high school students na mahuhusay sa sports.
Kabilang sa mga bagong scholars ang 38 Navotas Division Palaro champions sa athletics, 24 sa swimming, 21 sa taekwondo, 18 sa arnis, at 16 sa badminton.
Kasama rin ang 11 medalists sa table tennis, 10 sa pencak silat, seven sa chess, at siyam sa arnis.
Pinirmahan ni Mayor John Rey Tiangco, kasama si Navotas Schools Division Office Superintendent Dr. Meliton P. Zurbano, mga scholars, at kanilang mga magulang o guardians, ang memorandum of agreement para sa NavotaAs Athletic Scholarship Program.
“This achievement is a testament to your perseverance and dedication in your chosen sports. I encourage you to continue honing your skills and talents, and at the same time, strive hard in your studies to maintain your grades,” ani Mayor Tiangco.
Ang mga athletic scholars ay tatanggap ng P16,500 transportation at food allowance, at P1,500 para sa kanilang uniform at mga gamit kada scholarship term.
Makakakuha din sila ng libreng training sa mga coaches na kinuha ng pamahalaang lungsod at tulong sa pagsali sa mga kompetisyon.
Ang kanilang scholarship ay maaaring i-renew taun-taon kung sila ay manalo ng hindi bababa sa ikatlong puwesto o katumbas nito sa anumang regional o national sports competitions, dumalo sa lahat ng kailangan at nakatakdang pagsasanay at mapanatili ang kanilang mga grado sa paaralan.
“Your success is the success of the entire Navotas community. Keep striving and dreaming. With your determination, you can achieve your dreams,” dagdag ni Tiangco.
Ang pamahalaang lungsod ay nagbibigay din scholarships sa mga estudyante na nagpapakita ng outstanding academic performance at artistic talent, at sa mga anal o mga kaanak ng Top Ten Most Outstanding Fisherfolk.

Inanunsyo rin ng business magnate na ang makakasungkit ng Ms. Beautéderm title ay mag-uuwi ng P500,000 worth of Beautéderm products para sa negosyo at P150,000 cash sa coronation night.

Director Shawn Levy, Opens Up About A Potential Sequel After ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’
AFTER directing Ryan Reynolds’ first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Shawn looks at the chances of Deadpool 4 happening after Deadpool & Wolverine.
2024 may only have one MCU movie coming out, but it will definitely be one of the most significant films for the Multiverse Saga, as Deadpool & Wolverine will shake up the franchise in more ways than one. With Deadpool & Wolverine currently tracking to be one of the biggest box office hits for Marvel Studios, it is leaving several doors open for Wade Wilson in the MCU timeline the MCU after his summer installment.
With the Deadpool & Wolverine release coming only a month from now, Levy was recently asked in an interview with Deadline if he sees a potential sequel for the Merc with a Mouth.
While Marvel Studios hasn’t announced any plans for a Deadpool 4 movie, Levy looked at the prospects from two perspectives. While the world of Deadpool allows them to do anything they want, the Deadpool & Wolverine director also stressed the amount of work that went into this film, sharing the following: Usually, I have to lie. I’m waiting for the questions when I have to lie and pretend I don’t know the answer, but this one I can sincerely say I don’t know. But I can, in the same breath, say, ‘Man, this thing has been the hardest, most all-consuming thing I’ve ever done. But it’s also been the most creatively gratifying.’ Because with Deadpool, there’s no rules. It is, in its very DNA, built on tonal audacity. So, for a filmmaker, what a delight. And to do it with my best friend Ryan, my other buddy Hugh, the three of us who have known each other now for a very long time, it was just a blast. Because if you work with friends, you don’t mind making an ass of yourself. And if you’re working on something that’s comedic, you better be willing to fall on your face.
Assuming that Deadpool & Wolverine becomes a box office and critical success, it wouldn’t be shocking at all to see Deadpool 4 get greenlit. With Wade set to seemingly exist in the MCU permanently, there are a lot of fun directions they could take him in a hypothetical Deadpool 4. Depending on how Deadpool & Wolverine ends, Deadpool 4 could be Wade’s proper exploration of the MCU as he gets familiarized with his new home.
Interestingly enough, Levy recently stated that he would love to do a Deadpool & Spider-Man movie with Reynolds and Tom Holland, which would be terrific, especially after Spider-Man 4. Given their fun dynamic in the comics, seeing Spider-Man and Deadpool teaming up in any capacity would guarantee another success for Marvel Studios. While it would obviously be another collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, the latter is likely going to be open for this type of team-up film, especially if Deadpool & Wolverine emerges as a 2024 hit.
Deadpool 4 could also be something that happens in Phase 7, which is where the X-Men are bound to have their big focus, as their reboot movie is currently being developed. Given how past Deadpool movies poked fun at the lack of X-Men in his stories, Deadpool 4 could make up for that, as the mutants become bigger players in the MCU going forward. But in order for Deadpool 4 to become a reality, the world will first have to catch Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters this summer. (Source: screenrant.com)

In fairness, super ganda ang dula, hindi nakaka-antok at walang itulak-kabigin sa mga nagsipagganap tulad nina Shamaine Buencamino, Stela Cañete at marami pang iba under the direction of Dexter Santos.
Base sa Lipa apparition at istorya ng mga madre na naging saksi sa petals of roses ng Our Lady of Mediatrix.
Maraming mga celebrities ang kasabay naming nanood sa supposed to be last day pero na-extend due to public demand.
Ilan sa namataan namin ay ang Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos-Recto, Ricky Davao, Direk Jeturian, Atty. Joji Alonso, Malou Choa-Fagar, Mentorque producer Bryan Dy, Noel Ferrer, Allan Diones, Anna Pinggol at marami pang iba.
Nang hingan namin ng mensahe si Ate Vi tungkol sa napanood niya ay sobrang na nagandahan daw siya sa dula at gustong-gusto ang lahat ng mga nagsipagganap.
May ugong na isa ito sa mga gagawin niyang movie for the MMFF this December.
Ayon pa kay Ate Vi ay kilalang-kilala niya si Sis. Tereseng ang sinasabing pinakitaan ng mahal na birhen.
Personal at naging kaibigan ni Ate Vi ang nabanggit na madre and when in fact daw sa tuwing may retreat o misa na dadaluhan ni Ate Vi ay nagkakatsikahan sila ng madre.
Coincidence din naman na ang doktor ng madre hanggang sa binawian ng buhay ay si Dr. Magsino na naging doktor din ng namayapang ina ng aktres.
Believer at deboto ng Our Lady of Mediatrix si Ate Vi kung kaya naniniwala siya sa naturang apparition na siyang inilahad sa stage play.
Kung may particular na role na gagampanan si Ate Vi kung sakaling isasapelikula ang “Grace” ay no comment muna ang premyadong aktres.

SA mismong kaarawan niya last Saturday June 15 ay isinabay ng newbie pero sobrang husay nang umawit na si Debbie Lopez launching ng kanyang single “Ang Higugmaon Ka”.
Isang visayan song na handog ni Debbie sa mga kababayan niyang Cebuano.
Laking Talisay, Cebu si Debbie at lumuwas sa Maynila para lang ipagpapatuloy ang ambisyon niyang mapabilang sa mga iniidolo niyang mga singers.
In fairness magaling umawit at mag-perform si Debbie na sa totoo lang ay maraming lulumain sa mga nag-uumpisang singers lalo na yung mga nanalo sa mga singing contest.
Hindi naman itinago ni Debbie ang paghanga niya sa aktor na si JM de Guzman. Kaya nga raw pinaghandaan niya ang malapit na nilang pagkikita ng magaling na aktor.
Naikuwento pa ni Debbie na last year daw ay pinadalhan siya ng dalawang video greeting ni JM. Ang isa ay noong Valentine’s Day kung saan ay sinabihan siya ng aktor ng ‘I love you.’ Ang isa naman ay noong kaarawan niya mismo.
“May isang follower ako na friend niya ‘yung ano ni JM de Guzman. So, Valentine’s Day, kinikilig ako, nagsabi ng ‘I love you,’” sobrang kilig pang kuwento ni Debbie.
Binanggit pa ni Debbie na gusto rin daw naman ni JM na ma meet siya in person.
Kasabay naikuwento ni Debbie na nagkaalaman na raw sila ng contact number ni JM at nagkaka-text na sila ngayon.
Incidentally, bukod sa pagiging singer ay cosplayer at disc jockey rin si Debbie.
kasalukuyang naka-base sa Baguio City ang Cebuana singer na kung saan siya ay kilalang DJ sa ilang online radio stations, huh!
Napasok daw siya sa mundo ng pag-awit during the pandemic. Nag-audition daw siya sa Sessions Live Music Stream at mapalad naman siyang nakapasa.
“Kasama ko rin doon si Jeffrey Hidalgo and some of the international artists, and andu’n din ‘yung Boyce Avenue and K-pop.
Sa ngayon ay na-release na ang debut single ni Debbie na isang Cebuano song titled “Ang Higugmaon Ka” composed by Kuya Bryan. Mapapanood na ito sa YouTube channel ng nasabing composer.
“The song is about LDR (long distance relationship) and naka-relate ako, na-in-love ako sa isang guy, tapos ‘yung guy, may mahal palang iba,” sabi ni Debbie.
She revealed na isang seaman ang dati niyang minahal pero nadiskubre raw niyang may iba pa itong girlfriend.
Ngayon ay single raw siya at hindi na muna raw niya iniisip ang love life dahil naka-focus muna raw siya sa kanyang career.

Inaasahan na sasagot ang kampo ng aktres: OGIE, naghain ng counter affidavit sa cyber libel case na isinampa ni BEA
NITONG Martes, June 18 ay naghain na si Ogie Diaz ng counter affidavit sa reklamong cyber libel na isinampa laban sa kanya ni Bea Alonzo, kasama ng dalawa niyang co-host.
Sa isang press statement, ipinahayag ng abogado ng online host na si Regie Tongol na naghain naman ng counter-charge si Ogie ng perjury na may damages laban sa Kapuso actress sa Regional Trial Court.
“In our seventy-page (70) Counter-Affidavit, we called out the Complainant by not clearly stating in her sixteen-page (16) Complaint-Affidavit the specific individuals who uttered the specific defamatory statements making it appear it was all Mr. Diaz who made them,” pahay ni Tongol.
“They even failed to show clear and convincing proof of ‘actual malice’ whether in the form of ‘reckless disregard for the truth’ or ill-motive which is a legal requirement and standard if the Complainant is a public figure,” dagdag pa ng abogado.
Matatandaang noong May 2 ay sinampahan ni Bea ng tatlong magkakahiwalay na reklamong cyber libel sa Quezon City Prosecutors Office sina Ogie at Cristy Fermin. Damay sa reklamo ang kani-kanilang co-hosts sa kani-kanilang online program.
Tumugon naman si Ogie tungkol sa reklamo ni Bea, at sinabing haharapin niya ito sa tamang panahon. At dumating na nga ito sa ginawa niyang paghahain ng kaso.
Inaasahan naman ang magiging sagot ng kampo ni Bea o paghahain ng kanilang reply-affidavit sa loob ng dalawang linggo.
Mahaba-haba pa talaga ang itatakbo ng kasong ito nina Bea at Ogie.
