Meet the cast of the thrilling zombie apocalypse movie “Love You as the World Ends”
Kamen Rider stars Takeuchi Ryoma and Takahashi Fumiya are Hibiki and Yamato in the dystopian zombie film Love You as the World Ends. Based on the hit horror-television series co-produced by Nippon TV and Hulu Japan, Love You As The World Ends ties in all the intertwining stories of a group of survivors trying to stay alive during a zombie outbreak.
Takeuchi Ryoma plays the lead role as Hibiki, a mechanic before the world was plunged into chaos. Hibiki was about to propose to his partner, Kurumi, when the deadly Golem outbreak began.
Fighting for survival, Kurumi tragically succumbs to the Golem virus, but miraculously gives birth to their child, Mirai. Mirai’s unusual childbirth piques the interest of researchers who are looking for the cure to the Golem virus, and kidnaps, hoping to further their cause. Hibiki must now climb up Utopia, a refuge from the Golems, to get to the researchers and save his child.
Most notable for playing main character Shinnosuke Tomari of the Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Drive, Takeuchi Ryoma has been Hibiki for the Love You as the World Ends series for 4 seasons. He’s also cast as Miyabe Arata in Roppongi Class, a remake of the hit K-drama series Itaewon Class.
Takahashi Fumiya plays the second protagonist, Yamato, who came across Hibiki by chance when his car broke down while on a date with the girl he wants to be in a relationship with, Aoi. The pair will meet again as fate brings them together on a quest to find and rescue their loved ones. Aoi is up in the top level of Utopia, where the researchers are secluded, her fate unknown to Yamato. As they face unknown dangers higher up in Utopia, Yamato and Hibiki form a tenuous alliance to increase their chances of successfully getting to the top.
In 2019, Takahashi Fumiya was the first Kamen Rider actor to be cast who was born in the 21st century, playing the protagonist role in Kamen Rider Zero-One. Consistently getting roles in TV drama series, he bagged the lead role for the prime time drama for the first time as Kitada Gaku in Fermat no Ryōri.
Watch them take the ultimate journey as Love You As The World Ends opens in PH cinemas on June 12, an Encore Films film distributed by Warner Bros.

MIC, prayoridad ang energy transmission investments
PRAYORIDAD ng Maharlika Investment Corp. (MIC), ahensiya na mangangasiwa sa sovereignty wealth fund, ang pamumuhunan sa energy transmission lines sa iba’t ibang rehiyon.
Sinabi ni MIC President and Chief Executive Officer Rafael D. Consing Jr., na marami ng investments sa ‘generation at distribution side’ sa sektor ng enerhiya.
“So Maharlika will be focused on lines, just the transmission lines. We do not see ourselves investing in the generation side or the distribution side,” ang sinabi ni Consing.
“Also if you look at where investments in the energy sector is most required, it is in the lines,” aniya pa rin sabay sabing “So therefore we want to be able to make a difference by focusing only on the grid, on building island grids.”
Aniya pa, magiging bahagi ito ng P35 billion na investments sa energy projects ngayong taon.
Nauna rito, nilagdaan ni Consing kasama ang mga opisyal mula sa National Electrification Administration, at Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO), ang isang memorandum of agreement na magpapahusay sa electrical infrastructure ng PALECO.
Layon ng kolaborasyon o pagtutulungan na gawing matatag ang suplay ng kuryente sa Palawan upang mapanatili na makapaghikayat ng mga negosyante at industriya sa lalawigan para sa paglago ng ekonomiya nito.
Nakamandato sa kasunduan na ang mga partido ay ‘mutually provide technical assistance and share relevant data to achieve this goal and direct MIC to conduct studies to assess the present electrical system of Palawan and determine ways to improve it.”
Mayroon namang diskresyon ang MIC na tustusan o gastusan ang pag-upgrade rito, subject sa availability ng pagpopondo at dapat ay consistent sa Investment strategy at risk management frameworks nito.
Samantala, nakatakda namang palawigin ng PALECO ang lahat ng tulong na may kaugnayan sa implementasyon ng memorandum at makapagbigay ng ‘technical at operational expertis” kabilang na ang access sa kaugnay na data at information, sa mga collaborators o katuwang.

House nais ipasagot na rin dialysis meds sa PhilHealth
INATASAN ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez ang PhilHealth na pag-aralan kung maaari nilang sagutin na rin ang gamot na ginagamit sa pagpapa-dialysis ng mga diabetic patients.
Ayon kay House Deputy Majority Floor leader Erwin Tulfo, ito ang nais ng mga mambabatas sa Kongreso para mabawasan o tuluyan ng malibre ang gamot ng mga may acute diabetes sa bansa.
“4.5 milyong Pilipino ang may diabetes at halos kalahati nito ang nagpapa-dialysis ng isa hanggang tatlong beses isang linggo,” ani Cong. Tulfo.
Dagdag pa ng ACT-CIS Representative, “umaabot kasi ng P900 hanggang P1,500 ang injection pagkatapos ng dialysis session ng isang pasyente”.
Ayon kay Tulfo, “may instruction si Speaker Romualdez na pag-aralan agad ng PhilHealth kung papaano malibre o sagutin na lang nila ang gamot, totally”.
Maraming mga dialysis patients daw kasi ang lumapit na kay Romualdez para hilingin na gawin na lang libre ang gamot o makakuha sila ng discount man lang.
“Sabi ni Speaker sa kanila naiintindihan nya ang bigat ng gastusin sa halos araw-araw ng pagpapa-dialysis”, ayon kay Tulfo.
“The house leadership want to unload o bawasan itong pasanin sa pagpapa-dialysis”, ayon sa mambabatas.
Sa ngayon sinasagot na ng PhilHealth ang pagpapadialysis ng mga miyembro nito pero ‘di pa kasama ang gamot.
DICT, pabor na I-regulate ang paggamit ng TikTok sa Pilipinas
Pabor ang Department of Information and Communications Technology na I-regulate ang paggamit ng Social media platform na TikTok sa Pilipinas.
Ito ang inihayag ni DICT Undersecretary Jeffrey Dy kasunod ng paghahain ng bill sa Kamara de Representantes na naglalayong ipagbawal sa bansa ang mga Foreign adversary-controlled applications tulad ng TikTok.
Paliwanag ng opisyal, ang ganitong uri ng mga social media applications kasi aniya ay posibleng magamit sa espionage o pag-iisp ng dahilan kung bakit dapat aniya na magpatupad ng regulation sa paggamit nito.
Bukod dito ay isiniwalat din ni Dy na kasalukuyan na rin nilang mahigpit na binabantayan ang messaging app na Telegram matapos ang ilang mga ulat na ginagamit umano ito para sa pag-leak ng database information mula sa mga website ng pamahalaan na nabiktima ng hacking.
Habang ang Facebook naman ay ginagamit ngayon ng mga kawatan para sa online selling ng mga sanggol.
Ito aniya ang dahilan kung bakit bukas ang kanilang kagawaran sa pagre-regulate sa ganitong uri ng mga social media application, o kahit na I-takedown pa aniya ang mga sites na mapag-alaman ginagamit sa mga ilegal na aktibidad.
Samantala, dahil dito ay umaapela ngayon ang DICT sa naturang mga social media platforms na tiyakin na hindi magagamit at nagagamit ang mga ito sa mga ilegal na gawain. (Daris Jose)
Gunman sa pamamaslang sa registration chief ng LTO, arestado

Sa ngayon ay tumanggi munang magbigay ng dagdag pang mga impormasyon si Department of the Interior and Local Government Sec. Benjamin Abalos Jr. ngunit kasalukuyan na aniyang hinihintay na maisailalim ang suspek sa kaukulang inquest proceedings.
Kaugnay nito ay mayroon na rin aniyang tinitignang anggulo o motibo ang kapulisan sa likod ng nangyaring krimen at mayroon na rin aniyang possible identification ang mga otoridad hinggil sa nasabing kaso.
Kung maaalala, una nang kinumpirma ng Land Transportation Office ang pagkakakilanlan ng biktima na si Mercedita Gutierrez na nagsisilbing pinuno ng Registration Section ng LTO Central Office.
Matatandaan din na batay sa ulat ng Quezon City Police District isang hindi pa nakikilalang Gunman na sakay ng motorsiklo ang pinagbabaril ang sasakyan ni Gutierrez sa bahagi ng K-H Street sa may Kamias Road, Brgy. Pinayahan, Quezon City.
Agad na dinala ang biktima sa pagamutan ngunit kalauna’y hindi na nakaligtas pa nang dahil sa tindi ng kaniyang mga tinamong pinsala.
Ang insidente na ito ay mariing kinondena ni LTO chief Assistant Sec. Atty. Vigor Mendoza II kasabay ng pagtiyak na mahigpit silang makikipag-ugnayan sa Philippine National Police para sa pagkamit ng hustisya para sa mga naulilang pamilya at mga mahal sa buhay ng biktima.
PBBM, muling itinalaga si Cacdac bilang DMW ad interim Secretary
MULING itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. si Hans Leo Cacdac bilang ad interim Secretary ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
Ang reappointment ni Cacdac, makikita sa listahan ng presidential appointees na ipinalabas ng Malakanyang ay patunay na patuloy na ‘nagtitiwala at kumpiyansa’ ang Pangulo kay Cacdac.
Ipinagpaliban naman ng CA ang kumpirmasyon ni Cacdac dahil ang Second Regular Session ng 19th Congress ay nag- adjourn na.
Bago pa ito, itinalaga na ng Pangulo si Cacdac bilang ad interim Secretary ng DMW nito lamang Abril ng taong kasalukuyan, 7 buwan matapos na italaga siya bilang officer-in-charge ng departmento noong Setyembre 2023. Itinalaga siya bilang DMW officer-in-charge makaraang pumanaw si dating Secretary Susan “Toots” Ople noong Agosto ng nakaraang taon.
Samantala, si Cacdac ay nagsilbi bilang Undersecretary ng DMW; Executive Director V ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA); Executive Director V ng Philippine Employment Administration (POEA); at Undersecretary ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
