PBBM, nilagdaan na ang ‘TRABAHO PARA SA BAYAN ACT’

TININTAHAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. upang maging ganap na batas, araw ng Miyerkules ang “Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act.”

Layon nito na tugunan ang “unemployment, underemployment, at iba pang hamon sa labor market.”

Ang batas ay nakatuon sa pagpapahusay sa “employability at competitiveness” ng mga manggagawang Filipino para itaas ang kasanayan at muling ituro ang inisyatiba at suportahan ang micro, small, and medium enterprises at industry stakeholders.

Sa ilalim ng batas, ang Trabaho Para sa Bayan Inter-Agency Council (TPB-IAC), sa pangunguna ni National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, ay bubuo ng masterplan para sa “employment generation at recovery” sa Pilipinas.

Tatayong co-chair ng TPB-IAC ang mga Kalihim ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) na may kinatawan mula sa ibang ahensiya at iba’t ibang sektor.

Magsasagawa rin ito ng comprehensive analysis ng employment status at labor market sa bansa at titiyakin ang epektibong paggamit ng resources at pinagsama-samang pagsisikap ng pamahalaan.

Tutulungan din ng konseho ang local government units sa “planning, devising, at implementing employment generation and recovery plans and programs” sa kani-kanilang lokalidad, tiyakin na naka- aligned sa Trabaho Para sa Bayan Plan.

Para kay Secretary Balisacan, ang paglagda sa sa “Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act” ay isang “welcome development” dahil makapag-aambag ito sa Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 ng administrasyong Marcos.

“We support the Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act as it contributes to the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, which aims to increase employability, expand access to employment opportunities, and achieve shared labor market governance,”ayon kay Balisacan.

“With the passage of the TPB, this will facilitate stronger coordination and partnership among relevant agencies and stakeholders for the efficient implementation of employment programs,” dagdag na wika nito. (Daris Jose)

PBBM, pinangunahan ang panunumpa ng 55 heneral ng PNP

PINANGUNAHAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang panunumpa sa 55 mga police generals na ginawa sa Heroes Hall sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang.

Ito ang ikalawang batch ng mga nag -oath taking na heneral ng PNP dahil nasa may 58 ang nanumpa sa unang batch na ginawa noong isang linggo.

Sa naging talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos, sinabi nitong zero tolerance ang gobyerno hindi lamang sa korapsyon kundi pati na sa human rights abuses.

Winika pa nito na sa ilalim ng Bagong Pilipinas ay hindi dapat na magkaroon ng puwang ang katiwalian at pang- aabuso sa kapangyarihan.

Inaasahan din aniya ng mga mamamayan sa mga bagong promoted generals ang highest standards sa kanilang hanay at makikita sa kanila ang “leadership by example.”

DOTr: 76-km bike lane nilunsad sa CALABARZON

NAGKAROON ng groundbreaking ceremony sa Lipa City, Batangas ang 76-kilometer ng Class 2 at 3 bike lanes na siyang magdudugtong sa mga lungsod ng Lipa, Antipolo, Cainta, at San Mateo sa Rizal.

Ang nasabing bike lanes ay inaasahang matatapos sa unang quarter ng 2024. Inaasahan naman ng Department of Transportation na magkakaron ng kabuohang 400 kilometers na bike lanes sa Pilipinas pagkatapos ng ginawang groundbreaking ng P151.7 million na proyekto para sa Calabarzon region na binubuo ng Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal at Quezon.

“The Department of Transportation will seek an additional budget which will be allocated for creating more bike lanes next year,” wika ni DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista.

Sa taong 2023, may P700 million ang nakalaan para sa proyekto ng bicycle lane. Ang nasabing alokasyon ay may target na makapaglagay ng 470 kilometers ng bike lanes sa bansa.

Ang DOTr’s Active Transport Program ay naglalayon na mapalawak ang protected na bike lane networks ng 2,400 kilometers sa darating na 2028.

Noong 2022, nagkaron naman ng inagurasyon ang South at East Metro Manila bike lane network ang DOTr kasama ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Sa ngayon ay mayron ng kabuohang 563.57 na kilometro ang bicycle lane network ang tapos na nakalagay sa Metro Manila, Metro Cebu at Metro Davao.

Ang East Metro Manila bike lane ay may habang 17.2 na kilometro sa kahabaan ng anim (6) na road sections sa Marikina City. Habang may 49.36 na kilometro naman sa South Metro Manila bike lane sa tatlong (3) road sections na dumadaan sa Las Pinas, Muntinlupa at Paranaque. LASACMAR

‘Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act’ pirmado na ni Marcos

PINIRMAHAN na ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang bagong batas na “Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act” na naglalayong tugunan ang unemployment at underemployment at iba pang hamon sa sektor ng paggawa.

Layon ng Senate Bill no. 11962 na pangunahing akda ni Senate Majority Joel Villanueva, na palakasin ang employability at competitiveness ng Pinoy workers sa pamamagitan ng upskilling at reskilling initiatives.

Gayundin ang pagsuporta sa micro, small at medium enterprises at industry stakeholders.

Nakasaad din sa “Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act” ang paglikha ng trabaho para sa Bayan Inter-Agency Council na pamumunuan ng Director General ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) at ang co-chairman nito ay ang kalihim ng Department of Labor and Employment o DOLE at Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Sila rin ang babalangkas ng isang master plan para sa employement generation at recovery.

Kaagad naman ipinag-utos ni Marcos na balangkasin ang implementing rules and regulations para agad na mapakinabangan ng mga manggagawa.

Ayon sa Pangulo, sa pamamagitan ng bagong batas ay mabubuksan sa mga Filipino ang bagong yugto para sa sapat at de kalidad na trabaho para sa lahat.

Panukalang ‘rice tariff reduction’, pinalagan ni PBBM

PINALAGAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang panukalang pansamantalang ipatupad ang rice tariff reduction para tugunan ang pagsirit ng presyo ng bigas sa merkado.

“We decided with the agriculture and economic managers that … it was not the right time to lower the tariff rates because the projection of world rice prices is that it will go down. So, this is not the right time to lower tariffs. Tariffs are generally lowered when the price is going up,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.

Ang pahayag na ito ng Pangulo ay matapos ang isinagawang sectoral meeting, araw ng Martes sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang kung daan ipinresenta ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) ang updates hinggil sa panukalang rice tariff reduction na may ‘inputs’ mula sa Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at Department of Budget and Management (DBM).

May ilang grupo ng mga magsasaka ang nagpahayag ng kanilang alalahanin ukol sa negatibong epekto kapag in-adopt ang rice tariff reduction gaya ng mas makikinabang ang mga importers sa naturang panukala “because they are already undervaluing rice” at “further depress” ang presyo ng palay at i-discourage o papanghinain ang loob nila

(magsasaka) mula sa pagpapalawak ng kanilang produksyon sa hinaharap.

Nauna rito, inirekomenda ng NEDA ang pagtapyas sa taripa na ipinataw sa imported rice sa layuning tulungan na maibaba ang local rice prices sa merkado, sa kalaunan ay mauuwi sa sabay-sabay na pagbawi sa Executive Order (EO) No. 39, pagpapataw ng mandatong price ceilings sa regular at well-milled rice sa merkado.

Gayunman, sa nasabing pagpupulong, sina NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan at ang mga opisyal ng Department of Agriculture (DA) na sina Undersecretaries Leocadio Sebastian at Mercedita Sombilla ay sumang-ayon na hindi tama na ibaba ang tariff rates dahil sa ‘downtrend’ ng presyo ng bigas sa world market.

Sa ilalim ng EO 39, naging epektibo noong Setyembre 5, ang ipinag-utos na price ceiling sa regular rice ay P41.00 kada kilo habang ang ipinag-utos naman na price cap sa well-milled rice ay P45.00 kada kilo.

Sa kabilang dako, sinabi naman ni Pangulong Marcos na pag-aaralang mabuti ng gobyerno kung babawiin nito ang implementasyon ng EO 39, sa ngayon aniya ay nananatiling epektibo ito.

“Pag-aralan natin mabuti,” ayon sa Punong Ehekutibo.

Samantala, ipinag-utos naman ng Pangulo sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na magbigay ng P15,000 cash assistance sa mga small rice retailers na apektado ng implementasyon ng EO 39 habang namamahagi naman siya ng sako ng bigas sa mga benepisaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) para masilguro ang sapat na food supply para sa mga ito. 98K benepisaryo, nakakuha ng P221-M AICS sa ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ caravan

INIULAT ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na namahagi ito ng P221.06 milyong piso sa 98,092 benepisaryo sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program nito sa idsinagawang pag-arangkada ng Bagong Pilipinas service caravan sa apat na lalawigan nito lamang weekend.

Ang 98,092 benepisaryo ng AICS ay bahagi ng 322,689 benepisaryong nakarehistro sa portal ng “Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair” (BPSF) sa isinagawang sabay-sabay na pag-arangkada sa Ilocos Norte, Camarines Sur, Leyte at Davao de Oro nito lamang Setyembre 23 hanggang 24, 2023.

Sa naging pag-uulat ni Assistant Secretary Ada Colico ng Statutory Programs sa ilalim ng Operations Group kay DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, sinabi nito na nakapagtala ang Leyte ng pinakamataas na bilang ng AICS clients na may 48,018, sinundan ng Ilocos Norte na may 26,353; Camarines Sur na may 12,264; at Davao de Oro na may 11,457.

Sa kabuuang halaga na naipamahagi, ang mga benepisaryo mula sa Leyte ay nakakuha ng P97.91 million; Ilocos Norte, P77.84 million; Camarines Sur, P24.53 million; at Davao de Oro, P20.78 million.

“The Bagong Pilipinas caravan is the country’s biggest service caravan aimed at providing major government services to less fortunate Filipinos in various communities across the country,” ang sinabi ni Gatchalian sa isang kalatas.

Tinuran nito na ang tagumpay ng paglulunsad ng BPSF noong nakaraang Sabado ang nag-udyok sa mga nag-organisa na palawigin ang ilang programa mula sa orihinal na two-day event, nakapanghikayat ng mas higit pa sa 300,000 benepisaryo sa buong bansa.

Inilunsad ang caravan kung saan itinampok ang “Kadiwa ng Pangulo,” naglalayong paghusayin ang access sa abot-kayang halaga ng pagkain at iba pang bilihin, “Passport on Wheels,” driver’s license registration at assistance, national identification, Pag-IBIG Fund, at National Bureau of Investigation at police clearance applications.

Tiniyak naman ni Gatchalian na dadalhin ng administrasyong Marcos ang Bagong Pilipinas service caravan sa lahat ng 82 lalawigan sa bansa matapos ang matagumpay na paglulunsad nito. (Daris Jose)

PBBM, nangako na paiigtingin ang pagsisikap na tiyakin ang ‘proactive farming” sa bansa

NANGAKO si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na paiigtingin ng pamahalaan ang pagsisikap nito na tiyakin ang ‘proactive farming’ sa bansa.

Ito ang sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos sa kanyang talumpati na binasa ni Department of Agriculture Senior Undersecretary Domingo Panganiban sa idinaos na ika-51 taong anibersaryo ng National Food Authority.

“I share with you our high hopes in the success of the SARAI Project—or the Smarter Approaches to Reinvigorate Agriculture as an Industry in the Philippines Project,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.

“Through this, we will be intensifying our efforts in providing smart and sustainable solutions for a more productive and proactive farming. Likewise, I am optimistic in the positive impacts that will be carried out by the NFA Modernization Program,” dagdag na wika nito.

Inamin ng Punong Ehekutibo na nito lamang nakalipas na buwan ay maituturing na talagang isang malaking hamon para sa sektor ng agrikultura.

“However, we continue to find the best solutions to the issues that we face without compromising the needs of our farmers and retailers,” ani Pangulong Marcos.

“We continue to relentlessly strive to bolster the agriculture sector to increase our local food production and supply,” aniya pa rin.

Binanggit ng Chief Executive na gumagawa na ng agresibong hakbang ang pamahalaan para mapagaan ang epekto ng mga bagay-bagay na may kinalaman sa ‘price stability’ ng mga pangunahing bilihin lalo na ng bigas.

Samantala, ipinag-utos naman ni Pangulong Marcos ang pagpapalakas sa law-enforcement activities laban sa mga smugglers, hoarders, at mga nagpapahina sa pagsisikap ng gobyerno na siguraduhin ang food security. (Daris Jose)

Gustong makatrabaho sina Marian at Maine: CARLA, inaming napatawad na si TOM at ‘di dahilan sa paglipat ng management

BINIGYAN ng isang bonggang pag-welcome at the same time, contract signing si Carla Abellana ng bago niyang management, ang All Access to Artists Ph o Triple A Management.

Present sa naging pag-welcome at contract signing ni Carla ang mga bosses ng Triple A sa pangunguna ni Direk Mike Tuviera. Gayundin si Ms. Jacqui Cara at Jojo Oconer. Nando’n din si Ms. Celeste Tuviera na unang nag-interview kay Carla.

May title si Carla na ‘The Goddess of Drama.’ At sabi naman ni Carla, ang GMA-7 rin daw ang nagbigay sa kanya ng monicker na ‘yon.

“I believe, from GMA po ‘yan. Nagsimula po ‘yan sa Primetime Goddess. Hindi ko nga po alam, sabi ko nga po, saan ba galing ang Primetime Goddess na ‘yan. Pero, nagsimula po sa GMA po ‘yan at lagi na po name-mention sa GMA kapag meron pong teleserye.

“So, medyo tumatak po siya. Nag-iiba-iba from time-to-time. Naging Primetime Goddess, Drama Goddess. And I think, mas naging consistent pa ‘yung Goddess. Pwedeng pang-primetime or afternoon prime.”

At ngayong part na nga ng Triple A Management si Carla, isa raw sa gusto niyang ma-achieve, magkaroon pa ng chance na makasama ang iba pang mga artista na hindi pa niya nakakasama. Gusto rin ni Carla na makasama sa proyekto o kahit sa mga social media collaboration sina Marian Rivera at Maine Mendoza na mga ‘kapatid’ niya ngayon sa Triple A.

Pinasubalian din ni Carla na dahil sa ex-husband na si Tom Rodriguez kung bakit siya lumipat ng Triple A from Luminary ni Popoy Caritativo. Maayos naman daw sila ni Popoy nag-usap at nagpapasalamat din siya sa pang-unawa nito.

As for Tom, napatawad na raw ito ni Carla.

At inamin ni Carla na expired na ang network contract niya sa GMA-7 noong May pa, pero nag-uusap na raw sila ngayon. Though, hindi nito itinanggi na kung sakali at may opportunity na makasama siya sa Batang Quiapo ni Coco Martin, open daw siya.

Though sey niya—mga chismis lang ito dahil wala naman daw offer.

Ang sigurado, may ‘Stolen Life’ pa na teleserye si Carla na dapat abangan sa kanya sa GMA-7.

AWARE na pala si Paul Salas sa revelation ni Andrea Brillantes na siya ang first crush noong 4 years old pa lang ito.

Sabi ni Paul, nagkakasama naman daw sila dati ni Andrea sa mga raket at ang both na nanay nila ay okay rin at nagkaka-usap. Kaya alam daw niya ito, pero natatawa na lang si Paul dahil nga bigla itong pinag-uusapan ngayon.

Natawa na lang din si Paul dahil ang hirit ni Andrea, ngayon ay hindi na.

Sa isang banda, one week before ng cast reveal lang pala nalaman ni Paul na isa siya sa cast ng Pinoy adaptation ng GMA-7 sa hit Korean Drama na “Shining Inheritance” kunsaan, ang role niya ay super bait talaga na magkakagusto sa character ni Kate Valdez.
