Walang dapat i-explain at i-satisfy na curiosity: XIAN, dedma lang balitang naghiwalay na sila ni KIM

IKINAGULAT ni Kapuso Actress Carla Abellana nang may magtanong sa kanya sa mediacon ng “Stolen Life” ng GMA Network tungkol sa balitang may sikat na actor siyang boyfriend ngayon.

Kaya naisagot niya agad ay, “wala naman po, walang artista o actor or anything, wala pong ganoong eksena.”

Pero kung sakali ba ay handa na siyang magkaroon ng bagong boyfriend?

“Hindi ko po masasabi na open na ako or ayaw ko ring sabihing ayaw ko na. Siguro, kung ano na lamang ang dumating, or go with the flow. Ayaw ko ring mag-close ng doors at ayaw ko namang basta na lamang magkaroon ng isang bagong relationship.”

Natatawang sagot ni Carla. Lalo siyang natawa nang kumustahin ang mga dating nagpaparamdam daw sa kanya?

“Nawala na silang lahat! Hindi ko naman sila binasted!”

Pero inamin ni Carla ang tungkol sa divorce proceedings nila ni Tom Rodriguez, na iba nga raw ang proseso rito sa Pilipinas at iyon ang hinihintay niya para masabing malaya na nga siya talaga.

Technically raw ay divorce na sila, pero sa Pilipinas, in the process pa rin ang pag-recognize dito.

Maganda ang teaser ng “Stolen Life” na muling pagtatambalan nina Gabby Concepcion at Carla, kasama nila si Beauty Gonzalez. Kaabang-abang ang mga eksenang nagpapalit siya ng character bilang Lucy into Farrah dahil magkaibang-magkaiba ang pagkatao ng dalawa. Kontrabidang-kontrabida kasi si Farrah.

Mapapanood ang “Stolen Life,” simula ngayong after “Abot-Kamay na Pangarap,” sa GMA-7.

NAG-GUEST si Diana Zubiri sa “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” last Friday, at doon nalaman ng mga netizens kung bakit biglang nawala ang isa sa original na Sang’gre ng “Encantadia.”

Nag-migrate na raw ba siya sa Australia with her family?

“Lumipat muna kami roon nang magkaroon tayo rito ng Covid-19 pandemic, three years ago, dahil doon mababa ang cases nila,” kuwento ni Diana.

“Simpleng buhay lamang kami roon, nag-aalaga ako ng three kids ko and my husband Andy. Nag-try kami ng three months, then six months, hanggang sa nagustuhan na namin living there.

“Thankful ako na naroon ako habang lumalaki ang mga anak namin. Ang nakakatuwa at ipinagtataka ko rin kung minsan, napakaganda ng relationship namin ni Andy, hindi kami na-aaway.”

Kaya maraming nagulat nang biglang mag-appear si Diana, na lalong gumanda at sumeksi, sa “It’s Showtime” last Wednesday, kasama ang mga original na Sang’gre na sina Iza Calzado, Karylle at Sunshine Dizon.

Sa tanong ni Boy Abunda kung may possibility raw na makakasama ang original Sang’gre sa “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre”, ang sagot ni Diana, “Iyon ang aabangan, kung kasama kami.”

Meanwhile, nagsimula nang mag-taping si Direk Mark Reyes ng “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” at isa-isa nang nakikita ang mga bagong bubuo sa cast na pangungunahan nina Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian at Kelivn Miranda, matapos ang ilang buwan na nilang pagti-training ng martial arts.

IWAS si Xian Lim na pag-usapan ang tungkol sa balitang break-up nila ng girlfriend na si Kim Chiu.

Nag-post siya ng sagot sa kanyang Instagram account ng paliwanag, “I am here in the entertainment industry but I am not here to entertain.

“Gusto ko lamang i-express na ginagampanan ko ang characters na ibinibigay sa akin. Wala ako rito para i-explain at i-satisfy ang inyong curiosity, hindi para humingi ng sympathy or spread hate. Hindi ako iyon.

“Mahal ko ang mga tao sa paligid ko, mahal ko ang pagkakataon na naibigay sa akin ng tadhana at patuloy kong gagamitin ang boses ko para i-share ang purpose ko.

BGYO RECORDS CHORUS VERSION OF *NSYNC’S NEW SINGLE “BETTER PLACE” FOR FILIPINO AUDIENCE FROM THE MOVIE “TROLLS BAND TOGETHER” SOUNDTRACK

“I’m so excited to see you excited”… goes the chorus of “Better Place,” lead single from the official soundtrack for Trolls Band Together, and the first musical release in two decades by one of the most successful boy bands in pop music history, *NSYNC.

Well, P-pop fans, get ready to be even more psyched! Popular P-pop boy band BGYO has recorded their own official version of the “Better Place” chorus to celebrate the release of the much-awaited Trolls Band Together in the Philippines on November 15.

“I enjoyed listening to the music in the past Trolls movie so we are very excited to be a part of this one!” says Nate Porcalla, the youngest of the group. His BGYO brothers – Gelo Rivera, Akira Morishita, JL Toreliza and Mikki Claver are just as excited to share their version of the catchy “Better Place” chorus with their fans, the ACEs.

Beloved for its signature psychedelic joy-bomb of new and classic pop hits, the latest sequel in the Trolls movie franchise puts the spotlight on band music. And when it comes to Pinoy pop music or P-pop – our own version of deliciously catchy pop band music in the same vein as K-pop and J-pop – who knows better than BGYO? Dubbed as the “Aces of P-pop,” BGYO has taken the Philippine music industry (and then some) by storm.

The band, whose name stands for “Becoming the change, Going further, You and I, Originally Filipino,” released their debut single, “The Light,” in January 2021, and in less than two weeks after its release, it had already surpassed 100,000 streams on Spotify. The song’s music video was also the fastest P-pop music video to reach 1 million views.

Their second single, “The Baddest,” also made quite a splash. It ranked #1 on two global charts, Billboard’s Next Big Sound and Pandora Predictions Chart. And earlier this year, BGYO was included by the US Recording Academy or the Grammys on its list of exciting Asian artists to check out, for “redefining what it means to be a boy band in the Philippines.”

In Trolls Band Together, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) are back for an action-packed, all-star, rainbow-colored new chapter in the beloved Trolls franchise. “Real queens support each other”: HEART, nagsalita na tungkol sa pagkakaayos nila ni MARIAN

MARAMI ang nagdiwang na nagkaayos na sina Heart Evangelista at Marian Rivera.

Panahon ng shooting nila noong 2011 ng pelikulang ‘Temptation Island’ nagsimulang umikot ang balitang magkagalit ang dalawang reyna ng GMA.

Pero kamakailan, makalipas ang labingdalawang taon ay nagulantang ang marami dahil biglang pina-follow na nina Heart at Marian ang isa’t-isa sa Instagram.

At kailan lang, mismong si Heart ang nagsalita tungkol dito ng mainterbyu sa isang event.

“I don’t want it to be anything that’s for publicity because something like that should be from your heart,” ani Heart.

“Marian and I, we’ve always liked each other,” bulalas pa ni Heart.

Positibo ang dating nito sa publiko lalo pa nga at parehong reyna ng GMA ang muling naging magkaibigan.

Bongga nga ang sinabi ni Heart na, “Real queens support each other. It’s a testament that it’s really the people around us that makes things bad.”

Kung happy ang netizens, siyempre pa ay masaya rin si Heart sa nangyari.

“I guess it’s just a matter of time and honestly, I really appreciate her.

“She has a very strong character but I really appreciate her kindness and her, just her heart,” wika pa ni Heart.

At siyempre, tiyak na hihintayin ng publiko na (muling) magkasama sa isang proyekto sina Heart at Marian.

“I don’t know kasi siya kasi, busy din siya. But I think for me what’s important is, in the real world, we’re okay. And that for me is a true queen,” binitiwang salita pa ni Heart.

Binisita kasi si Claudine ng kanyang mga anak sa unang araw ng taping niya para sa bago niyang serye sa GMA, ang ‘Lovers/Liars.’

Sinorpresa si Claudine ng mga anak niyang sina Santino, Sabina, Quia, at Noah sa unang araw ng taping nito nabanggit na serye na pinakabagong collaboration drama series ng GMA Network at Regal Entertainment.

Bukod sa pagbisita sa kanya sa set ay may pa- bulaklak pa para kay Claudine ang mga anak niya.

Idinaan ni Claudine sa kanyang Instagram post ang pasasalamat niya sa kanyang mga anak.

“Thank you so much my babies for surprising me on my 1st day of taping @sab_barretto @santinosantiago12 [I love you] all so much. This is for [you] kiddos and for all my #claudinians,” caption ni Claudine sa larawan nilang mag-iina.

FILMING A GREAT KILL SCENE IN A HORROR MOVIE IS A BADGE OF HONOR FOR “THANKSGIVING” DIRECTOR ELI ROTH

THE heart of any slasher movie is the kills, and Eli Roth – the genre’s maestro – would make sure that Thanksgiving reflected his best work.

“Every kill had to meet our standards of scare and gore,” says the Thanksgiving director. “If the movie didn’t deliver on its promise, we’d be dead.” And Roth had the added pressure of having done it already when he made a fake Thanksgiving movie trailer upon the request of his friend Quentin Tarantino, as part of the latter’s Grindhouse double-feature with another fan-favorite director Robert Rodriguez. “I found myself not just trying to match what I did in the trailer, but trying to top it in every way possible,” continues Roth.

Which is why early on, Roth began discussing the project with prosthetics genius Adrien Morot (The Whale, for which he won the Best Makeup and Hairstyling Oscar®). “His craftsmanship is second to none,” shares Roth. “Adrien and his wife Kathy made the most incredibly realistic and beautiful heads and body parts I have ever seen. They were so beautiful! But of course, no matter how beautiful the fake head, it must be smashed in with a meat tenderizer.”

Getting to make a horror movie is, for Roth, standing on the shoulders of giants. “We look at the kills and say, okay, how can we outdo ourselves? And not just ourselves, but every other movie?” he says. “It’s a badge of honor for us to get the best kill. Every time you make a horror movie, you have a chance to enter into the pantheon of horror greats. The opportunity is there if you take it. So with every death, we try to truly make it a classic.”

How does he know when a kill has that special something? “I have to have that ‘ugh’ feeling… I have a very, very, very high tolerance for movie gore, so if a scene is upsetting me, then I know it’s gonna work for a general audience,” says Roth.

Filming a classic kill is a responsibility the director takes very seriously. “I’m always most excited on a day when we’re filming a kill scene, I have this nervous pit in my stomach and I can’t relax until I know we have the kill on camera,” Roth says. “The timing of the head falling off, the swing of the axe, the way the blood pumps – a million things can go wrong. But when they go right there’s nothing like it.”

This November, a new horror legend will emerge. Thanksgiving, starring Patrick Dempsey, opens in cinemas November 22.
