WALA pa raw sa isipan ni Rhian Ramos ang magpakasal kahit na marami na sa kanyang mga kaibigan, in and out of showbiz, ay mga nag-asawa na at may mga sarili ng pamilya.

Sey ng bida ng Artikulo 247, na marami pa raw siyang gustong gawin at ma-achieve kaya never daw naging priority ang mag-settle down. Ang ideal marrying age daw niya ay 35.

Two years na raw ang nakaraan noong makipaghiwalay si Rhian sa dating boyfriend na si Amit Borsok. Nangyari raw iyon during the pandemic. Kaya nasanay na raw na maging single ang aktres dahil maging abala siya sa lock-on taping ng Artikulo 247.

Pero ang balitang nali-link si Rhian sa businessman na si Sam Verzosa ay wala pang kumpirmasyon mula sa aktres.

OFFICIALLY single na ang reality TV star na si Kim Kardashian.

Ayon sa report ng TMZ, na-grant na ng Los Angeles Superior Court judge ang request to end her marriage to Kanye West.

“Kim was on a video call for Wednesday’s (March 2) court hearing. Her lawyer, Laura Wasser was in court and Kanye was absent. Kanye’s lawyer did not object to restoring Kim’s single status, although his lawyer said he had 3 conditions.

“Number one, any right to get reimbursement of money that’s supposed to be divided up will be preserved in case either of them dies—the judge granted that condition.

“There were 2 other conditions the judge rejected: That Kim would not transfer any assets she had in trust, and if Kim remarries she would waive the “marital privilege. That privilege means a new spouse would not have to testify about communications he had with her. The judge said no to that.”

Sinagot ni Kim ang ilang katanungan tulad ng “Are there problems in your relationship?” and “Do you think your marriage can be saved with counseling?”

Kim answered “yes” to the first and “no” to the other.

Kinasal sina Kim and Kanye noong May 14, 2014 at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. They have four kids: North (8), Saint (6), Chicago (4), and Psalm (2).

Health protocol violators, tumaas kasunod ng pagluluwag sa restriksyon sa NCR

TUMAAS pa ang bilang ng mga indibidwal na lumalabag sa mga ipinatutupad na health protocols sa Metro Manila, lalo na sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng granular lockdown.

Ito ay kasunod ng pagbababa sa Alert Level 1 sa buong National Capital Region (NCR).

Ayon kay NCRPO chief Maj. Gen. Felipe Natividad, tumaas ng 13.36 percent ang bilang ng mga naaarestong indibidwal sa rehiyon dahil sa mga naging paglabag ng mga ito sa minimum public health standard.

Mula kasi sa 3,713 na naitala noong nakaraang linggo, ay tumaas sa 4,2096 ang bilang ng mga indibidwal na naaresto dahil sa naturang paglabag mula Pebrero 28 hanggang Marso 1.

Bukod dito ay nakapagtala rin ang NCRPO ng mas mataas na bilang ng mga lugar sa Metro Manila na kasalukuyang nasa ilalim ngayon ng granular lockdown.

Sa datos, mula sa dating 15 mga lugar ay tumaas pa sa 19 ang bilang ng mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng granular lockdown sa NCR, na may katumbas na 26.67 percent.

Brad Pitt’s ‘The Lost City’ Role Isn’t Just A Cameo

ACCORDING to director Adam Nee, Brad Pitt’s role in the upcoming romcom The Lost City has been seriously underplayed in various reports, because the Oscar winning actor has a substantial part.

The movie stars Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock (previously titled The Lost City of D) in an love story that’s in the vein of Romancing the Stone. Bullock plays romance author Loretta Sage, while Tatum is her dreamy cover model Alan.

When Loretta is kidnapped by billionaire Fairfax (Daniel Radcliffe), who is searching for the famed Lost City she keeps writing about, Alan decides to channel the heroes he embodies on her covers and goes after her. The Lost City also stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Patti Harrison, and Pitt.

Pitt’s role in The Lost City has been hyped for months, as a fun cameo that he took on at the request of his Bullet Train co-star Bullock. The first trailer for The Lost City revealed Pitt to be playing the kind of hero that Alan wants to be, as demonstrated through the incredibly efficient way he rescues her from Fairfax’s camp. That sequence is the only bit of Pitt’s role that has been revealed so far, which further contributes to the idea that he’s only putting in a cameo.

According to one of The Lost City‘s directors, that isn’t actually true. Aaron and Adam Nee, the co-directors of the film, recently sat down with Total Film (via GamesRadar+) to tease the eagerly anticipated romcom.

When it came to Pitt’s role, Adam revealed that the Oscar winner is actually in a “good chunk” of The Lost City. He also explained how Pitt came to be involved with the film, which was something he and Aaron had dreamt of early on.

He said: “Brad Pitt’s name came up early for this. But the role isn’t a cameo, he’s in a good chunk of the movie. We were like, ‘We’re never going to get Brad Pitt to do this. And then Sandy did Bullet Train [with Pitt], she was pitching him the role and she and Brad share a hairdresser, Janine [Thompson]. Janine was saying to Brad, ‘How would you do your hair if you played this part? What would you do about this?’ It felt like she just started getting him excited about it. And it then suddenly became real – and we were sitting on a Zoom, and talking to him about the movie. Before we knew it, he was in the jungle.”

Pitt’s Lost City character was funny enough when it was assumed he just made a small appearance, but the news that he’ll actually stick around for much longer is far more intriguing.

The trailers for the film, again, haven’t revealed much of what else Pitt will be doing, but one can assume he and Tatum’s Alan will have a bit of a rivalry going on. At its core, The Lost City will be about Alan and Loretta’s journey, so presumably Pitt’s agent will disappear at some point to allow that relationship to grow. Before then, though, expect plenty of comedy to come from his suave action hero.

The Lost City arrives in theaters later this month. It continues the recent revival of the traditional studio romcom. Audiences will soon get to decide if the movie is a worthy addition to the genre. (source: screenrant.com)

116 Pinoy, nananatili pa rin sa Ukraine; 200 seafarers na-stranded sa karagatan

SINABI ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na mayroong 116 land-based Filipino ang nananatili sa Ukraine, at 200 Pinoy seafarers naman ang na-stranded sa Black Sea sa gitna ng patuloy na pag-atake ng Russia.

Ayon kay DFA Undersecretary Sarah Lou Arriola, may 27 Filipino kabilang na ang 21 seafarers ang inilipat sa Moldova at nakatawid na sa Bucharest sa Romania para sa byahe patungong Pilipinas.

Bukod pa sa, may 15 Filipino ang nasa Hungary, 9 naman sa Austria, at 4 sa Romania.

“So, 116 pa ‘yung nasa loob ng Ukraine,” anito.

Ani Arriola, mayroong 19 Filipino ang pinauwi sa Pilipinas. May ilang Filipino kasama ang kanilang mga asawang Ukrainian ang nananatili sa bansa sa kabila ng gulo.

Tinukoy ang impormasyon mula sa Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), sinabi ni Arriola na mayroong 200 Filipino seafarers ang na-stranded sa Black Sea at malapit na daungan.

“Ang estimate nila mas maraming seafarers around 200. Kasi yun naman, hindi naman sila nasa crossfire. Medyo stranded talaga sila sa Black Sea sa Odessa, sa iba’t ibang lugar,” ani Arriola.

“Ships are being cautious about sailing because two cargo ships were already hit by explosions,” aniya pa rin.

Hinikayat ni Arriola ang mga Filipino sa Ukraine na bumalik ng Pilipinas upang maging ligtas mula sa giyera sa pagitan ng Ukraine at Russia.

Binigyang diin nito na ang mga Filipino mula Ukraine ay “might have less opportunity for work when they move to other countries as there is an influx of refugees in Europe now.”

Samantala, umapela naman ang Pilipinas ng agarang pagtigil ng karahasan sa Ukraine sa ilalim ng pag-atake ng Russia at nanawagan sa mga partido na bumuo ng peace accord. (Daris Jose)

PUNONG kapasidad ng mga establisimyento, pampublikong transportasyon sa ilalim ng Alert Level 1, pwede na sa Bulacan

LUNGSOD NG MALOLOS- Maaari nang magbukas ang mga establisimyento at pampublikong transportasyon sa kanilang punuang kapasidad sa paglipat ng buong lalawigan sa Alert Level 1 simula Marso 1 hanggang Marso 15, 2022.

Ayon sa Executive Order no. 7, series of 2022 ni Gobernador Daniel R. Fernando o ang “An order adopting the guidelines on the implementation of Alert Level 1 in the Province of Bulacan from 01 until 15 March 2022 and for other purposes”, kailangang sumunod ng mga ahensya at instrumentalidad ng gobyerno sa 100 porsiyento ng on-site workforce.

Dagdag pa rito, lahat ng pribadong opisina at tanggapan ay maaari nang magpatupad ng kanilang 100 porsiyentong kapasidad, ngunit maaari silang magpatuloy sa flexible at alternatibong work arrangement ayon sa kanilang pangaingailangan.

Sa kabila ng maluwag na restriksyon, binigyang-diin pa rin ng gobernador ang pangangailangan sa pagsusuot ng face masks maliban kung kumakain at umiinom; sumasali sa mga team at individual sports sa mga lugar na mapapanatili ang pamantayan sa bentilasyon; at sa pagsali sa mga outdoor sport at exercise kung saan mapapanatili ang physical distance.

“Ito pong pagluluwag natin ay bunga ng patuloy na pagbaba ng mga kaso sa ating lalawigan. Gayunpaman, hindi ibig sabihin nito ay magpapabaya na tayo na para bang wala nang COVID. Mayroon pa rin pong COVID at kailangan pa rin po natin ng ibayong pag-iingat upang hindi na tayo muling bumalik sa paghihigpit na ating naranasan,” anang gobernador.

Kailangan magpakita ang mga indibidwal na edad 18 taong gulang pataas ng patunay na kumpleto na ang bakuna nila bago makalahok sa mga malalaking pagtitipon at makapasok sa mga indoor establishment, ngunit hindi naman ito kinakailangan para sa mga menor de edad.

Gayundin, hindi na kailangan ang mga health declaration form at contact tracing na sinasagutan sa papel, ngunit maaaring gamitin ng mga establisimyento ang StaySafe.ph na aplikasyon.

Tinanggal na rin ng gobernador ang oras ng curfew at modified liquor ban sa buong lalawigan.

Malawakang brownout naranasan sa Taiwan matapos magka-aberya ang kanilang powerplant

NAKARANAS ng malawakang brownout ang capital city ng Taiwan na Taipei.

Ayon kay economic affairs minister Wang Meihua, na nagkaroon ng aksidente sa power plant na matatagpuan sa southern Taiwan.

Nagkaroon umano ng problema sa transformer ng Xingda power plant sa Kaohsiung kung kayat agad nilang binuha ang backup sources ng kanilang power.

Tiniyak naman ng kanilang gobyerno na kanilang iimbestigahan ang nangyaring insidente.

OFWs na tinamaan ng COVID-19 sa virus hit Hong Kong tumalon sa 221

LALO pang dumami ang bilang ng mga overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) sa Hong Kong na tinamaan ng COVID-19, ito habang suspendido na sa naturang Chinese administrative region ang flights mula sa walong bansa — kasama na ang Pilipinas.

Sa tala ng Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Huwebes, sinabi ni Hong Kong Labor Attaché Melchor Dizon sa Laging Handa briefing na umabot na ang bilang sa 221.

Mula sa bilang na ito, 95 na ang naka-isolate sa bahay ng kanilang mga employers habang 43 na ang gumaling. 22 sa kanila ang nasa government quarantine facilities habang 22 ang nasa non-government organization facilities.

Anim naman sa mga nabanggit ay nananatili sa hotel facilities habang walo pa ang nasa mga ospital.

“Sa kasamaang palad medyo tumaas ‘yung cases. From zero noong January (2022) nagkaroon ng mga more than 100. Tapos nitong February nag-start nang tumaas, nag-6,000, tapos nag-10,000, nag-20,000. Noong March 1, 32,000,” wika ni Dizon kanina.

“Kahapon, ang reported cases ay 55,000.”

Dagdag pa ni Dizon, magpapatupad na ng mandatory COVID-19 mass testing sa lahat ng 7.5 milyong temporary at permanent residents nito.

Nakatakda nang iuwi ng Pilipinas ang mga Pinoy na naapektuhan ng COVID-19 surge sa Hong Kong matapos lumabas ang mga ulat na ilang migranteng manggagawa roon ang pinapaalis ng kanilang mga employer.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, pangungunahan ni ecretary Delfin Lorenzana ang nasabing repatriation effort.

Una nang pinasinungalingan ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bill III na sinisisante ng mga employers ang mga OFWs sa Hong Kong matapos magpositibo sa COVID-19.

Matatandaang sinabi ni acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles na nagbigay na ang POLO ng ng pagkain, hygiene kits at power banks sa mga nasabing OFWs para agad nilang makausap ang Hong Kong authorities.

NAGING madali para sa mag-asawang Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera na i-convince ang anak nilang si Zia Dantes, na walang arte at matapang na magpabakuna.

Kaya last Monday (Feb. 28), fully vaxx na nga ang anak nila.

Sa post ng kanyang Daddy Dong, “It’s ate Z’s second shot today and we did it via drive through. We were with 5 other kids inside the van since we were encouraged to do car pooling to manage traffic and limit the number of cars on the vaccination site.

“Thank you Joy @wintergin11 and Via @tomono_273 sa pagsabay sa amin sa van and of course, shoutout to the brave friends of Zia— Audrey & Enzo, Gia, Mandy, Zoe, Lucas, Kimchi and Alana—batchmates na rin kayo sa bakuna!’

Dagdag pa niya, “Everything went smoothly, may pa-pizza, balloons, at mascot pa! They really made sure that the whole process will be child-friendly and I think they did a good job!

“This might just be a regular fun playday for her but for me, I’m just glad that we’re slowly getting back up as a nation so we can slowly expose our children to the world again. “Siyempre bilang tatay at magulang, importante sa akin na magkaroon ng mas malalim na pag-unawa ang mga anak ko sa nangyayari sa paligid nila. “Pero this time, ida-drop mo lang siya and bahala siya pumunta sa classroom niya.”

NAVOTEÑOS NAKATANGGAP NG LIVELIHOOD ASSISTANCE

NASA 673 mga benepisyaryo ang nakatanggap ng kanilang P1,000 cash aid sa unang araw ng payout ng pamamahagi ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Navotas ng livelihood assistance sa ilalim ng Navo-Ahon Ayuda program.

Kabilang dito ang 38 jobseekers na nagtapos noong 2020-2021; 339 displaced workers; 25 delivery rider; 65 jeepney drivers; anim na local cooperatives; 38 na may-ari ng mga establisyimento na sarado at hindi pinapayagang mag-operate sa panahon ng heightened quarantine restrictions; at 162 bagong negosyante.

“As COVID-19 cases dwindle, our economy also continues to open up. However, many Navoteños still reel from the effects of the pandemic,” ani Mayor Tiangco.

Ang pamamahagi ng Navo-Ahon Ayuda ay naka-eskedyul hanggang March 23 para ligtas na mapaunlakan at mapagsilbihan ang 11,730 pang beneficiaries kung saan 1,772 dito ang mga tricycle at pedicab driver habang 9,958 ang rehistradong fisherfolk.

Ang Navo-Ahon Ayuda ay parte ng isang serye ng pandemic recovery programs na ang pamahalaang lungsod ay pumila para sa Navotenos.

Nauna rito, nagbigay ang Navotas ng tax amnesty sa mga indibidwal at negosyo sa pamamagitan ng General Pandemic Amnesty Program at nagbigay ng mga diskwento sa mga on-time taxpayers sa ilalim ng Pandemic Recovery Assistance Program.
