Dagdag na P1K social pension sa mahihirap na seniors, may pondo

TINIYAK ni Senior Citizens Partylist Rep. Rodolfo “Ompong” Ordanes na may pondo para sa P1,000 social pension ng may apat na milyong mahihirap na senior citizens sa bansa.

 

 

Ito ay batay na rin sa kumpirmasyon sa kanila ni Social Welfare Sec. Rex Gatchalian na nagsabing ang karagdagan P25.6 bilyon na kakailanganin para sa dobleng halaga ng pensyon ay huhugutin sa “unprogrammed funds” ng kagawaran.

 

 

Ipinagmalaki ng kongresista na naging matagum­pay ang kanilang pagsisikap na matiyak na magkaroon ng pondo ang dagdag na pensyon.

 

 

Sa ngayon, sinabi ni Ordanes na hinihintay na lamang ni Gatchalian ang implementing rules and regulations (IRR) na magmumula sa National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC).

 

 

Sa impormasyon naman ni Ordanes, Agosto pa nang simulan ng NCSC, na pinamumunuan ni Chairman Franklin Quijano, ang pagbalangkas sa IRR.

 

 

“Ang kailangan na lamang talaga ay ang IRR mula sa NCSC para matanggap na ng mga indigent senior citizens ang dagdag nilang pensyon na matagal na nilang hinihintay,” pahayag ni Ordanes, na lumabas na Top 10 sa performance rating sa hanay ng partylist representatives base sa RP-Mission and Development (RPMD) survey.

Watch the official trailer for “Blue Beetle,” the latest superhero movie from DC and Warner Bros. Pictures. Xolo Maridueña (“Cobra Kai”) plays the titular superhero. Exclusively in cinemas across the Philippines starting August 16.

About “Blue Beetle”

 

From Warner Bros. Pictures comes the feature film “Blue Beetle,” marking the DC Super Hero’s first time on the big screen. The film, directed by Angel Manuel Soto, stars Xolo Maridueña in the title role as well as his alter ego, Jaime Reyes.

 

Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. Soto (“Charm City Kings,” “The Farm”) directs from a screenplay by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer (“Miss Bala”), based on characters from DC. John Rickard and Zev Foreman are producing, with Walter Hamada, Galen Vaisman and Garrett Grant serving as executive producers.
