Keanu Reeves Says That ‘John Wick 4’ Reveals More of the Assassin World

Posted on: October 13th, 2021 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

KEANU Reeves says that John Wick: Chapter 4 will feature a lot more world-building and epic stunts that the franchise is well-known for.

The Lebanese-born actor has had the pleasure of playing the titular role in some of the most iconic action films like The Matrix, Speed and Point Break, but also delivered a series of commercial and critical failures in the post-Matrix era from the mid-2000s to the early 2010s.

However, his career enjoyed a massive resurgence with 2014’s John Wick which went on to spawn two more sequels with John Wick: Chapter Two and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The fourth and fifth installments in the series were announced immediately after the release of Parabellum in 2019.

The story of the first film revolves around ex-assassin John Wick who comes out of retirement to hunt down the gangsters who killed his dog. After starting out as a simple yet slick revenge thriller, the world and lore of John Wick is expanded in the subsequent entries of the franchise with it’s own unique iteration of the criminal underworld where Wick regularly finds himself entangled in a plot against other hitmen that threaten his life.

The series boasts an exceptional cast throughout with appearances from Willem Dafoe, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Ruby Rose, Halle Berry and Laurence Fishburne, who he shares a screen with for the first time since The Matrix Revolutions.

Reeves recently sat down with Today, to discuss his new comic book Brzrkr which he co-wrote with Matt Kindt. Eventually, the discussion led to the upcoming John Wick 4 which he is currently filming.        He gave a glimpse of what to expect from the four-quel and said that the film will double down on the action-packed stunts and world-building that fans have been accustomed to stating that “we’re going for it.

He made no secret of affirming his love for starring in the John Wick films and said that, “They’re fun. They’re intense. We’re going for it. There’s some really amazing John Wick action and new characters and it’s been really fun to be playing the role again and to be telling this story. You know, there’s new characters and we’re opening up the world. Right now we’re just shooting this crazy fight scene in the middle of traffic. So there’s car crashes, gun fights.”

The John Wick series has constantly pushed the boundaries of action sequences and fight choreography since its inception in 2014, with distinct and outrageous action sequences ranging from a thrilling shootout through a catacomb in John Wick 2 to an over-the-top yet exciting sword fight during a motorcycle chase in Parabellum.

Many other films have attempted to emulate John Wick’s style and panache, but few have come close to being even half as good. Reeves also touched on the world-building which will once again be in focus with the introduction of new characters into the fold with actors Donnie Yen and Clancy Brown joining the cast.

Keanu Reeves has also been known for doing his own stunts which is testament to his commitment to one of the many iconic roles in his filmography. If his comments on the highly-anticipated fourth film are anything to go by, viewers are sure to be in for a treat when John Wick 4 hits theaters on the 22nd of May, 2022.

Posted on: October 13th, 2021 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

Ako ang nakaupo ngayon sa opisina ko so somebody has to.”

“We are not surprised that the Philippines, together with other Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam are at the bottom of the list while countries which topped the list are developed countries such as Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, Finland and Denmark,” ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

“Vaccines are key towards defeating COVID -19. Unfortunately, as President Rodrigo Roa Duterte articulated in the United Nations, rich countries hoard life-saving vaccines, while poor nations wait for trickles. The Philippines is a classic case in point,“ dagdag na pahayag nito.

“The study indicated that the Philippines lagged behind its regional peers with a 12.9% vaccination rate as of September 3 versus Singapore’s 75.3%, Japan’s 47.3%, Malaysia’s 47.1%, Hong Kong’s 46.4%, and Indonesia’s 13.4%,” ayon sa ulat.

“Ang strategic program natin is because of Delta, we have upgraded our threshold to 90% and considering, we have factors of elections, we have to finish that before elections which is February (2022),” ayon kay Galvez. (Daris Jose)

Posted on: October 13th, 2021 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

“Ang mabuting balita po ay pagdating po sa ICU capacity eh for the first time in many, many months ang Metro Manila  ay nasa moderate risk and that is also a factor to consider in lowering quarantine classification.

So mukhang pareho po on the basis of two-week growth rate, average daily attack rate at health care utilization rate and mayroong datos na nagpapakita that we can lower the quarantine classification,” dagdag na pahayag nito.

“So I would say  that the data supports a reduction of the alert level but that’s ultimately the decision of the IATF.

“Maaaring by end of October, maaaring nasa low risk na ang NCR (National Capital Region), based sa criteria namin,” ani David.

Posted on: October 13th, 2021 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

“In addition to limited face-to-face by degree program, pinag-aaralan na namin kung puwedeng payagan ang mga eskuwelahan na mag-limited face to face classes in all degree programs in areas that have very low COVID prevalence and very high vaccination rate,” ayon kay CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III sa virtual pres briefing ni Presidential pokesperson Harry Roque.

“Kung papayag ang local government, kung mataas na vaccination rate sa area at mababa ang classification nila as far as COVID is concerned, baka papayagan na natin pagdating sa mga susunod na buwan ang mga eskwelahan na maglilimited face-to-face classes in all their degree programs as long as they abide by the guidelines and they are inspected,” ang pahayag ni De Vera.

KIKO at Senate Pres. TITO bilang Vice President; humihiling na sila’y ipagdasal

Posted on: October 13th, 2021 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

“I come home with a happy, but heavy heart.  Two men I greatly love – one whom I have known since birth, and the other, one I exchanged solemn vows with twenty-five years ago, are about to vie for the second highest position in the country, and once again, I do not know what I could have done so wrong to find myself in the midst of two rocks.

What could I, can I do! I pray that after this game called politics is over, that wounds are healed, loved ones do not doubt your love for them, and I and my sisters, especially, the only family I have left besides my own, find our way back to one another’s arms, unscathed and free of the pain our battlescars have brought us.

It is most difficult for us in the periphery, who never imagined we would be in this position.  May God bless us all.  May God help me through this trying period… Please pray for all of us.”

Ang Nagbabagang Luha ay napapanood Mondays to Saturdays, 2:30PM after Eat Bulaga.

Ipinakita ni Heart sa kanyang YouTube channel titled “A Mini Honeymoon with Chiz in Balesin.”

After ni Heart ng last lock-in taping niya ng romantic-drama series nilang I Left My Heart in Sorsogon with Richard Yap, pupunta  siya sa New York for a TVC shoot ng isang brand ng rubber shoes.
