Tila nagpaparamdam si Rere na siya ang puwedeng sumunod na Marimar pagkatapos nina Marian Rivera at Megan Young.
Dahil sobrang sexy ni Rere sa gabing iyon, hindi puwedeng makalagpas ang hitsura niya sa kanyang Kuya Ruru Madrid na nandoon din sa event kasama ang girlfriend na si Bianca Umali.

NOMINATED si John Lloyd Cruz for Best Performance para sa pelikula niya with Lav Diaz na When The Waves Are Gone sa 15th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA).
Nominated din for Best Director si Diaz at for Best Film ang naturang pelikula.
Magaganap ang awarding ceremony ng APSA sa November 11 sa Home of the Arts in Gold Coast, Australia.
Ayon sa website ng APSA: “Organized by the Asia Pacific Screen Academy, the award-giving event honors the cinematic excellence of 78 countries and areas from the region producing half the world’s film, celebrating cinematic storytelling that best reflects its cultural origins and the diversity of the Asia Pacific.”
When The Waves Are Gone ay tungkol sa kuwento ni Lt. Hermes Papauran, na tinatawag na country’s best investigator at ang kanyang pagpasok sa isang “moral crossroad.”
Ayon sa synopsis: “Lieutenant Hermes Papauran, one of the best investigators in the Philippines, is at a deep moral crossroads. He is a first-hand witness of the murderous anti-drug campaign conducted by his force, his anxiety and guilt triggering a severe skin disease. As he tries to heal, a dark past haunts him.”
Kakagaling lang ng pelikula ni Diaz sa Venice Film Festival kunsAan nasa Out of Competition selection ito noong September.

KUMPIRMADO na ang pagiging Superman ulit ng aktor na si Henry Cavill dahil sa kanyang cameo sa Warner Bros-DC film na Black Adam.

I chose that one in particular because of the nostalgia attached to the suit. It was important for me to be standing there and enjoying that moment. That is one of the top moments in my career. It feels great to have the opportunity to wear it again. I told myself I’m gonna let it sit and simmer in the background. I never lost hope, that was the key for me.”
