VOTERS REGISTRATION PASA SA BSK ELECTION

Posted on: October 29th, 2022 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

“Please note that the Commission, in its inherent power to extend the period for registration beyond January 31, 2023, ultimately intends to implement the RAP nationwide based on the lessons to be learned and challenges to be faced and hurdled in the NCR Pilot Testing.” saad pa ni Laudiangco .

(Gene Adsuara)

‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ New Trailer Reveals Two Black Panther Helmets

Posted on: October 29th, 2022 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

A new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer reveals not one, but two Black Panther helmets.

After Chadwick Boseman tragically passed away due to colon cancer in 2020, returning Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and his co-writer Joe Robert Cole reworked the sequel to honor the late actor and his incredible legacy as T’Challa.

Just as audiences are still coming to terms with Boseman’s untimely death, the sequel will find the people of Wakanda mourning King T’Challa’s passing as they protect their nation from invading forces led by Namor, the King of Talocan.
In an effort to honor Boseman’s legacy as T’Challa, Wakanda Forever will pass his Black Panther mantle on to another character to carry.

The most likely candidate is Shuri, who as T’Challa’s younger sister is his natural successor. Not only did Shuri become the Black Panther in the comics, but leaked LEGO sets have suggested the MCU will follow suit.

Wakanda Forever footage has also revealed a female Black Panther equipped with Shuri’s Vibranium gauntlets, suggesting Marvel is no longer concerned about hiding that Shuri is the new Black Panther.

Now, some new footage has arrived suggesting there is more to the story of T’Challa’s successor. Marvel recently shared a new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer titled “Time” that, at the 0:28 mark, reveals a glimpse of two Black Panther helmets side-by-side. Watch the new trailer above.

By revealing the two helmets, the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer supports the theory that T’Challa will have multiple successors in the sequel. The fan theory actually started as a result of comments from Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira. The Wakanda Forever stars suggested that fans haven’t guessed the new Black Panther correctly, saying “They’re not getting all of it right.” With Shuri almost certainly being the next Black Panther, this would suggest there might be other characters donning the suit in the forthcoming sequel.

Other than Shuri, Nakia is another Black Panther candidate given how close she was to T’Challa as well, though people shouldn’t count out Okoye as a possibility either. Having multiple successors in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever would be an interesting creative decision since audiences are mostly expecting one. Also, it would add some thematic significance to the sequel, suggesting that after T’Challa’s death, instead of trying to replace him, the Black Panther becomes a symbol that multiple characters can inhabit, and any Wakandan can aspire to. With early Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reactions praising the film for its moving story, perhaps the answer to this mystery will prove to be more impactful than anyone could’ve predicted.

Posted on: October 29th, 2022 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

May pagka-“All of Us Are Dead” ang peg kunsaan, nagampanan nila ang maging zombie.

Posted on: October 28th, 2022 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

“As a doctor and based on the scientific projections that has been done by our experts, once we loosen up the masking, maari pong magkaroon tayo ng mga kaso towards November and December from 2,500 and ang pinakamataas po, ‘yung higher limit would be around 18,000 cases,” ani Vergeire sa panayam ng ANC.

So, expectedly, cases are there. It’s going to increase. But what we need to preserve would be our healthcare system capacity,” dagdag pa ni Vergeire habang dumarami ang personal interactions ng mga tao.

“For that, as I’ve said, even through this recent na pagtaas ng kaso, na-accommodate po ng system natin. Nakita natin [na] we were able to manage. Hopefully, we’ll be able to manage in the coming months.”

“I struggled on the greens with my club selection.

(REC)

Bringing the superhero’s compelling origin story to the big screen for the first time, “Black Adam”  is the No. 1 film in nearly every market in 76 territories, including the Philippines, United Kingdom, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and France.  “Black Adam” also captured the No. 1 spot in the US with a $67 million debut.

In the Philippines, DC fans carried “Black Adam” to the top of the charts with a first-week gross of a badass P66.2-million, capturing a market share of 91%.  The film gave Warner Bros. Philippines its biggest opening this year and in the pandemic era, as well as its highest debut since 2019’s “Joker.”

Ahead of the All-Saints Day long weekend, the epic superhero film is expected to continue dominating the box-office as moviegoers avail of the opportunity to go to the cinemas during the holiday.

“We’re so excited by the fantastic box-office success of `Black Adam,’” says Francis Soliven, General Manager of Warner Bros. Philippines, the film’s local distributor.  “The anticipation has been building with movie fans to finally see this origin story on the big screen and the audience  has spoken — `Black Adam’ has exceeded their expectations.”

Indeed, the movie earned an Audience Score of 90% at review-aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, with fans citing the mind-blowing action scenes, the incredibly likable Justice Society, the deadpan humor, and compelling story, plus the internet-breaking mid-credits scene that everyone’s talking about.

About “Black Adam”

From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action adventure “Black Adam.” The first-ever feature film to explore the story of the DC antihero comes to the big screen under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”).

In ancient Kahndaq, the slave Teth Adam was gifted the almighty powers of the gods. But he used those powers for vengeance and was imprisoned. Now, 5,000 years later, he is freed and once again wields his dark sense of justice onto the world. Refusing to surrender, Teth Adam is challenged by a team of modern day heroes known as the Justice Society— Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone—who seek to return him to eternal captivity.

Johnson stars alongside Aldis Hodge (“City on a Hill,” “One Night in Miami”) as Hawkman, Noah Centineo (“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”) as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi (“Sex/Life,” “Rush Hour 3”), Marwan Kenzari (“Murder on the Orient Express,” “Aladdin”), Quintessa Swindell (“Voyagers,” “Trinkets”) as Cyclone, Mohammed Amer (“Mo,” “Ramy”), Bodhi Sabongui (“A Million Little Things”), and Pierce Brosnan (the James Bond and “Mamma Mia!” franchises) as Doctor Fate.

Now playing in Philippine cinemas, “Black Adam” is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.  Join the conversation online and use the hashtag #BlackAdam
