Perfect influencer para sa global reach ng Beautederm: JERALDINE, kinilig nang i-follow ni DOMINIC kaya nag-follow back

IPINAKILALA na ng founder ng Beautéderm na si Ms. Rhea Anicoche-Tan ang kanilang newest endorser noong May 22 sa Beautéderm Headquarters sa Angeles City Pampanga, wala iba kundi si Jeraldine Blackman.
Ayon kay Ms. Rei, na nagsimula sa beauty industry noong 2009, makatutulong ang collaboration na ito sa pagpapalawak ng reach ng Beautéderm, dahil na rin sa global influence ni Jeraldine.
“We’re both Ilocanas. We share the same love for family, and we both honor our roots. Jeraldine is an inspiration especially to women. She’s authentic that’s why people love her,” sabi ni Ms. Tan.

Kuwento pa ni Jeraldine, na kasal sa Australian nurse na si Josh Blackman, nagulat siya sa attention na nakukuha ng pamilya niya ngayon lalo na sa Pilipinas. Milyun-milyon ang views ng Blackman Family sa Youtube, TikTok at Instagram.
Sinabi niya rin sa media interview na gagamitin niya ang kanyang social media accounts para ma-promote ang Beautéderm sa buong mundo.

DUMAGUNDONG ang buong Mall of Asia Arena, Miyerkules ng gabi, nang tawagin ang Quezon Province bilang second runner sa Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

 

 

 

Early favorite kasi si Ahtisa Manalo ng naturang lalawigan bilang bagong kandidata sana ng Pilipinas sa Miss Universe na gaganapin sa Mexico late this year.

 

 

 

 

Pero nambulaga at nanggulat ang Miss Bulacan na si Chelsea Manalo dahil siya ang nakasungkit ng korona ng pinaka-prestihiyosong beauty pageant sa bansa.

 

 

 

 

Fourth runner-up si Miss Taguig Christi McGarry, third runner-up si Miss Baguio Tarah Valencia at first runner-up naman si Miss Cainta Stacey Gabriel.

 

 

 

 

Pasabog kasi ang sagot ni Chelsea sa Question & Answer kung saan tinanong siya ng, “You are beautiful and confident. How would you use these qualities to empower others?”

The forest has secrets. Writer-director Ishana Night Shyamalan dabbles in Irish folklore with “The Watchers”

“It felt like an unending pool of inspiration to draw from—that’s the dream as both a writer and director.” Ishana Shyamalan was riveted by A.M. Shine’s novel, The Watchers as she was searching for inspiration for her first feature film.
Now The Watchers has been transformed into an enthralling horror-thriller, based on the novel and starring Dakota Fanning.

Producer M. Night Shyamalan says that the book and Ishana were a perfect pair as far as adaptations go. “Ishana—who wrote a lot of the episodes of ‘Servant’ and directed several of them—has a fantasy bent in her interests. ‘The Watchers’ is an amazing book for her to adapt. She read it and fell in love, and wanted to both write and direct it. It was a very wonderful, organic way that it came about.”
The production wanted to lean into the Irish folklore aspect of the novel, and the whole atmosphere that comes with it. “I think our basis was A.M. Shine’s inspiration and expertise in Irish folklore, which really informed and excited all of us—he was referencing ancient storytellers. We were taking his knowledge and then making it a contemporary thriller,” M. Night explains. “It was lovely to learn the origins were really in Ireland, with the kind of dark insinuations in them—I think the beautiful part about the Grimms’ fairy tales is the darkness underneath it.”
Through the darker and more intense aspects of “The Watchers,” the theme of womanhood and family are intertwined throughout the story. “As a young woman, it’s kind of inevitable that the ideas of femininity, womanhood and motherhood are imbued into the things that I write. And that very much became the center of the story, which to me is a mother/daughter story between the characters of Madeline and Mina,” Ishana says. “But this is not just for a female audience; it feels very muscular, bold, fearsome and strong. All the women in this film are all of those things. They’re very powerful. I hope it transcends stereotypes a bit.”
Though set in a very specific corner of the world, Ishana hopes to build a universal story that audiences can relate to. “There are family dynamics and human relationships at the center of everything. In the film, they’re really a family. Despite the fantasy, thriller and horror elements, and everything around them, I think it’s really about how people relate to each other and how to find a way to be connected in a world that’s really tough to be connected in.”

From producer M. Night Shyamalan comes “The Watchers,” written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and based on the novel by A.M. Shine. The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.

Navotas namahagi ng educational assistance

NAMAHAGI ang Pamahalang Lungsod ng Navotas sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Mayor John Rey Tiangco ng educational assistance sa 355 public special education students o mga estudyanteng may kapansanan.

 

 

Nakatanggap ang mga benepisyaryo ng P1,000 para sa buwan ng Marso at Abril.

 

 

Ipinasa ng pamahalaang lungsod ang City Ordinance 2019-04 para mabigyan ang mga PWD students ng P500 monthly educational assistance o P5,000 kada academic year. (Richard Mesa)

Mayor Jeannie nakipag-ugnayan sa DBP para palakasin ang pabahay, kalusugan, infra projects at socio-economic development

UPANG mapabuti ang paghahatid ng mga serbisyo sa mga Malabueño, nakipagtulungan ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Malabon sa Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) para ilunsad ang programa ng bangko na tumutulong sa pagpopondo sa mga inisyatiba ng lokal na pamahalaan psa epektibong pagpapatupad ng mga programa.

 

 

 

Nilagdaan ni Mayor Jeannie Sandoval at DBP President and CEO Michael O. de Jesus ang memorandum of agreement sa pagitan ng lokal na pamahalaan at DBP, na tinaguriang “Building Stronger Communiities: DBP’s Economic and Social Development Funding Program for Local Government Units” sa pagdiriwang ng 425th Foundation Day ng lungsod, Martes, Mayo 21.

 

 

 

Ito ay ginanap upang ipatupad ang Accelerating Sustainable Economic and Social Empowerment through National and Local Initiatives to Overcome Challenges (ASENSO) Financing Program.

 

 

 

Ayon sa DBP, ang Financing Program ay naglalayong magbigay ng financing assistance sa lahat ng antas ng local government units sa pagsasakatuparan ng mga proyekto nito upang mapabilis ang imprastraktura at sosyo-ekonomikong pag-unlad na naaayon sa mga layunin sa Philippine Development Plan; at mag-ambag sa pagkamit ng Sustainable Development Goals.

 

 

 

“Isang mapagpalang araw para sa Lungsod ng Malabon dahil ngayong araw ay ating pinirmahan ang MOA para sa partnership kasama ang DBP para sa programang layong makatulong at masiguro na ating maisasagawa ang ating mga programa para sa pag-ahon ng Malabon at ng mga residente nito. Lagi ko hong sinasabi sa inyo na bukas ang aking opisina para sa kahit na sinumang Malabueño na nangangailangan ng tulong, magtungo lang po sa amin tanggapan. Patuloy po tayo sa pagpapatupad ng mga programa para sa inyo at asahan ninyo kami ay handing umagapay at siguruhing mabuti at maganda ang pamumuhay dito sa ating lungsod,” ani Mayor Jeannie.

 

 

 

Sinabi naman ni City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete, ang partnership ay magbibigay-daan sa lokal na pamahalaan na makakuha ng P3 bilyong pautang mula sa DBP, para magamit sa mga proyektong pang-imprastraktura at matugunan ang iba’t ibang isyu kabilang ang informal settlement, iligal na pagparada ng mga sasakyan, at kakulangan ng mga pasilidad sa ospital.

 

 

 

Si Mayor Jeannie na kamakailan ay pinangalanan ng RP Mission and Development Foundation, Inc. bilang Top Performing NCR Mayor (batay sa kanilang survey noong Marso 18-24), ay nagpasalamat sa DBP sa pagtitiwala sa kanyang epektibong pamumuno at nangako ng pautang na ipinagkaloob sa pamahalaang lungsod na gagamitin sa mga proyektong makakatulong sa pagtugon sa iba’t ibang alalahanin ng mga Malabueño.

 

 

 

Bilang bahagi ng misyon ng pamahalaang lungsod (Walang Maiiwan, Malabon Ahon!), layunin ni Mayor Jeannie na bawasan ang bilang ng mga informal settler na pamilya sa pamamagitan ng pagtatayo ng mga proyektong pabahay kabilang ang mid-rise housing projects sa Sisa Exit (88 housing units) at Paladium Street (220 units) sa Barangay Tinajeros para bigyan ang mga residenteng nakatira malapit sa mga danger zone sa lungsod ng kanilang mga tahanan na mas ligtas, at maayos.

 

 

 

Kabilang pa sa mga iminungkahing proyekto ang pagtatayo ng isang limang palapag na multi-purpose na gusali na may deck sa Barangay Tañong, ang extension building ng Ospital ng Malabon upang payagan ang health facility na mag-alok ng mas maraming libreng serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa mga residente; isang apat na palapag na parking building malapit sa City Hall at pagtatayo ng Malabon Sports and Convention Center.

 

 

 

Ibinahagi ng DBP na ang ASENSO Program ay naglalayong pondohan ang pagtatayo at pagpapanatili ng mga kalsada, tulay, at iba pang kritikal na imprastraktura na magpapadali sa kalakalan at transportasyon; mapabuti ang mga serbisyong panlipunan sa pamamagitan ng paglalaan ng mga pondo para sa kalusugan, edukasyon, at mga proyekto sa pabahay.
