BUBUO ang Philippine Sports Hall of Fame ng isang Review Committee para sa sports media practitioner upang makatuwang sa pagrebisa at ebalwasyon sa mga inonomina sa ikaapat na grupong mga iluluklok sa nasabing karangalan sa darating na Nobyembre.

Base sa Republic Act No. 8757 na kilala rin bilang PSHOF Act, tanging ang Screening Committee na mga kabibilangan ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman, Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president, Games and Amusement Board (GAB) chairman, tigdalawang miyembro ng POC accredited National Sports Association at private sector ang mga makakapili para sa mga itatalaga sa karangalan.

“It is for this reason that the PSC, for the longest time, has been seeking the help of our partners from the sports media in the evaluation process of the Hall of Fame. We recognize their knowledge of the history of our country’s sports legends,” ani PSC Chairman William Ramirez.

Ang pagbalangkas ng review committee ay unang isinagawa sa panahon ni dating PSC chairman Harry Angping noong 2010.

Nasa pitong miyembro ang grupo na ang komposisyon ay hindi muna ihahayag kung saan magsisimula ang nominasyon ng mga pararangalan para sa ikaapat na batch sa Marso 1. (REC)
