SWAK sa kulungan ang isang 30-anyos na lalaki matapos na magreklamo ang isang 9 anyos menor de edad na kanyang dinaliri sa likod ng isang truck,kamakalawa ng gabi sa Tondo,Maynila.

Sinampahan ng kasong paglabag sa RA 7610 na inamiyendahan bilang RA 8353 ang suspek na si Israel Barrera , ng 799 Fabia St.,Tondo dahil sa reklamo ni Jane

Nabatid sa reklamo ng nanay ng biktimang si Jane,di tunay na pangalan sa

Manila Police District-Police Station 7 , dakong alas 8:30 ng gabi nang yayain ng suspek ang bata na noon ay naglalaro sa likurqn ng truck na nakaparada sa may Favia St.Tondo.

Sumama naman umano ang biktima at pagsapit sa madilim na bahagi ng lugar,dito na umano ibinaba ang panty ng bata ar saka nito pinasok ang kanyang daliri.

Nagsumbong ang biktima sa kanyang ina at sa tulong ng mga barangay official sa Brgy.56 zone 5, ay naaresto si Barrera.

Ho 50 bisikleta ang ihahandog sa Pasig

NAKATAKDANG tumanggap ng 50 biskleta ang mga residente sa Pasig City buhat kay dating Philippine SuperLiga (PSL) at television host Gretchen Ho.

Nakolekta niya ang mga bike sa magdyowang sina 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray, actor Sam Milby at ilang organisasyon sa pamamagitan ng kanyang proyektong #DonateABikeSaveAJob.

Ipinaskil ng former Petron Blaze Spikers middle blocker-open spiker sa Instagram account niya noong isang araw ang ilan sa mga litratong ipinagkaloob ng makasintahan sa kanya ang mga bike

“Our Miss Universe Catriona Gray (@catriona_gray) together with @samuelmilby, and Cornerstone Talents (@cornerstone @visionerickson), Secret Scents (@secretscentsph) and Medigrade Philippines (@medigradeph) donate 50 bicycles to Pasig City residens,” post 30-taong gulang at 5-6 ang taas na Manilenyang dalaga.

De Jesus dagdag puwersa sa Gilas Pilipinas Women

MAY isang Filipina-American ang nakatakdang madagdag bilang reinforcement ng Philippine women’s basketball team o Gilas Pilipinas Women para sa ilang piling mga kompetisyon sa mga parating na buwan o taon.

Ang nagpahayag ng interes ay si Vanessa de Jesus, 18, incoming freshman sa pre-med course at kasapi ng women’s basketball team sa Duke University Blue Devil, isang tinitingalang United Sates National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 school.

Isinilang at lumaki sa California ang dalaga na Pinoy at Pinay ang mga magulang bago nanirahan at nagpalit ng kanilang nasyonalidad sa Land of Milk and Honey.

Kabilang sa kredeensiyal niya’y 2019 All-CIF Southern Section Co-Player of the Year, All-CIF Open Division 1st team member Gold Coast League Most Valuable Player.

Hindi nga lang kumuha ng pasaporte niya si De Jesus bago nag-16-na taon, kaya ilan sa maari lang niyang sabakan ang International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3×3 tournaments, regional event na may sariling rules katulad ng Asian Games, Southeast Asian Games, Jones Cup, at Southeast Asia Basketball Association (SEABA) Championship.

Bawal na siya na siya puwede sa mga torneong may bendisyon ng FIBA kagaya ng Summer Olympic Games, World Cup, Asian Championship at iba pa kapag mga 5-on-5.

Napag-alaman nitong Biyernes ng OD, na aasikasuihin na ni Gilas Women’s coach Patrick Henry Aquino pasaporte ni De Jesus ay para sa dual citizenship para maging naturalized player ng national quintet. (REC)

PSC Badjao Children’s Games sa Tawi-Tawi

MAY pagkakataong matuto at magsaya sa iba’t ibang tradisyonal na sports ang mga kabataan na kabilang sa Indigenous People partikular ang mga Badjao sa pagsasagawa sa sandaling ang coronavirus disease 2019 ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Children’s Games.

Nagpasalamat na kaagad ang mga pinuno sa Mindanao State University-Tawi-Tawi sa nakatakdang plano sa proyektong kinilala ng UNICEF na modelong sportsfest para sa mga kabataan.

“Thank you for facilitating with PSC the request of MSU Tawi-Tawi for sports equipment and the staging of Badjao Children’s Games which will be held soon after the pandemic,”bulalas ni James Edward Lee ng MSU Tawi-Tawi kay dating PSC chief Aparicio Mequi na nagpaabot ng kahilingan sa Komisyon.

“Hope you and Sir Butch (PSC Chairman William Ramirez) can visit us here in Tawi-Tawi to witness the event. God Bless you,” hirit pa ni Lee.

604,000 informal workers, natulungan ng TUPAD ng DoLE

UMABOT na sa mahigit 604,000 informal workers ang nabigyan ng tulong at pagkakakitaan ng Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers o TUPAD program ng Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) simula nang tumama ang Covid-19 pandemic.

Sa Laging Handa Public Press Briefing ay sinabi ni Atty. Ma. Karina Perida-Trayvilla, Director, DOLE-Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns na karamihan sa mga natulungan ng programa ay pawang mga vendors, mga self employed, tsuper na nawalan ng hanapbuhay dahil sa pandemya.

Sa naturang programa, magtatrabaho ang isang benepisyaryo ng 4 na oras kada araw sa loob ng 15araw kapalit ng minumun na sahod sa kanilang rehiyon.

Ang ilan sa itinokang trabaho sa mga ito ay disinfection sa kanilang sariling tahanan at barangay, paglilinis ng baradong estero, paglilinis ng kalat, pagkukumpuni o minor repairs sa mga evacuation centers at paaralan, basic services o pagbibigay ng tulong at personal protective equipment tulad ng mask sa kanilang mga ka-brgy.
