KEN at RITA, parehong nag-positive kaya nahinto ang lock-in taping ng ‘Ang Dalawang Ikaw’ at naantala ang airing

TODAY, June 21, ang world premiere ng Ang Dalawang Ikaw, a progressive and advocacy-driven story na gagampanan nina Ken Chan at Rita Daniela.

A married couple, as they face the challenges brought about by mental disorder, with Ken playing the roles of Nelson and Tyler, na may Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) or may split personality.

Dapat ay mas maaga pa naipalabas ang Ang Dalawang Ikaw pero nahinto ito dahil nag-positive si Ken at ang buo niyang pamilya nang nagsisimula pa lamang ang lock-in taping nila kaya kailangan nilang huminto. Nag-positive din ang leading lady niya na si Rita Daniela.

Special presentation ang napanood kahapon sa All-Out Sundays at humarap sa public ang ilan pang nag-positive sa Covid-19, sa pangunguna ni Michael V, Boobay, Rhian Ramos at handler nito.

Ayon pa rin kay Bitoy, pagdating sa Covid-19, pantay-pantay tayong lahat, totoo ang takot na pagdaraanan, pero huwag daw matakot, dahil sa suporta ng pamilya natin at manalig na hindi tayo pababayaan ng Diyos ay malalagpasan natin ito.

Naglunsad din sila ng campaign para makaipon ng donation para sa mga Covid-19 patients, sa pamamagitan ng GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc. at ang inyong pagtulong ay tiyak na magagamit para sa mga pasyente nito.

NAGING teary-eyed ang well-loved comedian and award-winning actress Pokwang matapos niyang mag-sign up ng contract sa GMA Network last Friday, June 18.

Yes, certified Kapuso na si Pokwang at hindi niya ikinaila na nagdesisyon siyang lumipat dahil sa passion niya to showcase her many talents and to grow more in the industry.

Ikinagulat din ni Pokwang na bago pa siya pumirma ng contract sa GMA, nag-guest na siya sa The Boobay And Tekla Show nina Boobay at Tekla, na napanood na kagabi, June 20, sa GMA-7 pagkatapos ng Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho.

Magsisimula na ring mag-taping ni Pokwang ng Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kuwento as one of the new cast members na bubuo ng family sitcom na sa simula pa raw lamang ay nagpatawa na nang husto kay Michael V ang mga pasabog ni Pokwang.

KIM, happy dahil fully-vaccinated na laban sa COVID-19; laging gutom ang side effect

HAPPY si Kim Chiu dahil fully-vaccinated na siya laban sa COVID-19.

Share niya sa Instagram: “JGH. Finally. I have prayed for this day to come! Seeing the covid19 videos last year scared me, so many “what ifs” on my mind. I made myself physically active by doing different workouts to help my™ lungs get stronger mas matinidi pa workout ko now than my marathon training before. But today, I am happy that I am #FullyVaccinated protection from major illness and to protect my friends, family, loved ones, and the people around me. Let’s all get vaccinated to reach herd immunity.”

Sinovac ang tinurok kay Kim at ang nakakalokang side effect daw ay lagi siyang gutom!

“The side effect for me is I am just always hungry for five days, 5-6 meals instead of 2 meals a day, then that’s it,” post pa ni Kim na mukhang tataba dahil sa bakuna.

INATRAS ulit ng GMA ang airing ng primetime teleserye na Legal Wives na dapat ay eere na sa June 21.

Ayon sa Facebook account ng Legal Wives: “Mga Kapuso, mukhang di tayo tuloy sa June 21. Wait for the official announcement from GMA.”

Ito dapat ang kapalit ng Heartful Cafe ni Julie Anne San Jose.

Wala pang official announcement ang GMA tungkol sa pagkaantala ng Legal Wives na pinagbibidahan nina Dennis Trillo, Alice Dixson, Andrea Torres at Bianca Umali.

Ayon sa isang source, hindi pa pala tapos ang taping ng Legal Wives. Nais daw ng production na matapos muna ang buong taping ng teleserye bago ito umere.

Naantala raw ang lock-in taping nila nang may isang staff na nag-positive sa COVID-19 noong magpa-swab test ito. Dahil dito ay na-pack up ang taping at pinag-quarantine ang lahat ng involve sa teleserye for 14 days.

Sumabay din ang problemang dinala ni Cherie Gil nang bigla itong mag-resign sa teleserye sa kalagitnaan ng taping.

Babalik daw sa lock-in taping ang lahat sa katapusan ng buwan na ito.

NAKA-MOVE on na ang Cuban actress na si Ana de Armas sa nagtapos na relasyon nila ni Ben Affleck.

January 2021 nag-break ang dalawa pagkatapos ng isang taong relasyon.

Nakipagbalikan na si Ben sa ex-girlfriend na si Jennifer Lopez at si Ana ay dine-dare ang VP ng dating app na Tinder na si Paul Boukadakis.

Ayon sa Page Six: “Paul and Ana were introduced through friends. He is based in Austin, but splits his time between Texas and Santa Monica. He has been spending a lot of time with Ana before she left the US to film her new movie.”

M. Night Shyamalan Recounts The Hardship Of Filming ‘Old’ During Pandemic & Hurricane Season

Night Shyamalan recounts the hardship of filming Old in the midst of the pandemic and during hurricane season.

According to screenrant.com, his upcoming thriller is about a group of people going on a holiday vacation. When they find a gorgeous secluded beach, they decide to spend the day there. They soon realize that something is causing them to age extremely quickly throughout the course of a day.

When the worldwide pandemic hit, the entertainment industry was one of many that had to shut down. Movies in production and many completed projects were forced to suffer large delays. Once film productions were allowed to get back on track, precautions to protect the cast and crew from COVID-19 proved to be an issue that only further complicated many productions.

There is not necessarily a guide to how to proceed, as this was uncharted territory for the whole industry. Even massive movie theater chains, like AMC, struggled to find ways to survive.

Shyamalan spoke about the difficulties of shooting Old during a panel at the 2021 Tribeca Festival via Indiewire, the film shot in the Dominican Republic in September, which made things increasingly stressful to the point that Shyamalan said he was close to breaking into tears. Not only was there a global pandemic taking place, but they filmed on a beach during hurricane season.

Check out Shyamalan’s full comments below: “We were the first movie to shoot and cast in the pandemic and the way we were making a movie was very new. I was making up the rules because I was the first one. So I said, ‘We’re all gonna stay in this hotel. I’m gonna pay for everybody. The cleaning ladies, the caterers, the reception person, the person parking our cars. Everybody is staying with us, and if they commit to these 10 weeks, I’ll cover everything and we just go from the hotel to the beach, back and forth everyday. And we stay safe. We didn’t have a single positive case, which is fantastic, even if it’s very scary. But because of this we had to push from May into hurricane season.

“Because of people’s schedules, I couldn’t have this cast if I waited. I wanted to make the movie with [this cast] and we took the risk. Of course there was a hurricane and it took the sets and just destroyed them. We decided to build again but the biggest concern was that the beach had eroded. There was no beach for our beach movie. We got very lucky; by day one, part of the beach came back, so we shot on that side and then we became very versed with nature, like the tides and storms out 100 miles away and how many times the water comes up per day. You had such respect for nature, being out there. … Because of the movie’s premise, they’re aging and it’s one day in the movie, so if an actor was playing Alex’s character young they would be in the morning, then another would be in the daytime, and then there’d be another actor later. There was all these prosthetics and it was a very complicated thing.”

Old is based on a graphic novel by the name of Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Levy and Frederik Peeters. The story has an overall sense of helplessness and dread, which seems to be what the cast and crew experienced over the course of filming.

Due to the delay of so many productions, a lot of talent became available, allowing for some projects to scoop up actors who normally would be booked.

While Shyamalan went into filming under bad circumstances that he knew would be factors in play, he managed to pull through and finish the movie without anybody on his cast or crew getting sick.

Old features an international cast which includes Gael García Bernal and “Phantom Thread” breakout Vicky Krieps, as well as Wolff, Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aaron Pierre, Vicky Abbey Lee, Embeth Davidtz, and Rufus Sewell. The film will hit theaters on July 23.
