SINABI ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., na makatutulong ang P7.8-billion North Luzon Expressway Candaba 3rd Viaduct para mas lalong umunlad at sumigla ang Gitnang Luzon.
Ito’y bunsod na rin ng pinataas na ‘connectivity at business opportunities at tourism activity.
“As we mark its completion, we show what can be achieved when we work together as one—fueled by our commitment to enriching connectivity, opportunity, and the brighter future that we continue to create together,” ang sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. sa isinagawang inagurasyon ng viaduct sa Pulilan, Bulacan, araw ng Martes.
“The 3rd Viaduct enhances the capacity of this expressway, reduces congestion, and ensures faster, more efficient travel. Standing as a testament to this Administration’s commitment to the ‘Build Better More’ program, this also shows that we are building the foundation to nurture the development of our countryside,” aniya pa rin.
“The country can steer economic growth, expand opportunities for trade and tourism, and drive regional development by improving the movement of goods, services, and people,” ang sinabi pa ng Pangulo sabay sabing “Designed with the latest in engineering innovation, the structure attests to the government’s dedication to safety, durability, and progress.”
“The viaduct is built to withstand the challenges of nature, the demands of time, and is poised to serve the people for decades,” dagdag na wika ng Chief Executive.
Kinilala naman ng Pangulo ang pagsisikap ng NLEX Corp. at Metro Pacific Tollways Corp., sabay sabing ang kanilang trabaho ay naglalarawan ng uri ng bansa na hangad ng bawat isa na maging ‘consistent, synergistic, at forward-looking.’
“Let us build infrastructure projects with future challenges in mind. Remain focused on pursuing initiatives that uplift lives, build communities, and most importantly, meet the needs of future that we hope to build for our children and their children,” aniya pa rin.
Ang Candaba Viaduct ay isa sa mga landmark projects na pinasimulan ng namayapa at dating Pangulong Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. Nananatili itong ‘vital link’ o mahalagang hugpong sa pagitan ng North Luzon at Kalakhang Maynila.
Mula nang magbukas ito noong 1977, ang five-kilometer bridge ay mahalagang link o hugpong na nagkokonekta sa mga bayan ng Pulilan, Bulacan at Apalit, Pampanga.
Ito ay dinebelop (develop) para matugunan ang pangangailangan ng lumalagong populasyon at ekonomiya.
Mula sa two-lane design, pinalawak ito sa three lanes sa bawat diresyon noong 2017, ngayon ay kaya na nitong mag-accommodate ng mahigit sa 80,000 motorista araw-araw.
Ang NLEX Candaba 3rd Viaduct, nagsimula noong nakaraang taon, ay isang five-kilometer-long infrastructure na itinayo sa pagitan ng dalawang umiiral na tulay na nagkokonekta sa Pulilan at Apalit. (Daris Jose)
