LTFRB magbubukas ng 3 bagong ruta

MAGBUBUKAS ng tatlong bagong ruta ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) dahil sa napipintong paghinto ng operasyon ng serbisyo ng Philippine National Railways (PNR).

Ang mga sumusunod na bagong ruta ay ang FTI-Divisoria via East Service Road, Alabang (Starmall) – Divisoria via South Luzon Expressway para sa mga public utility buses (PUBs), at Malabon-Divisoria para sa mga Modern Public Utility Jeepneys (MPUJ).

Ayon sa LTFRB ay may 30 PUBs ang inaasahang tatakbo sa rutang FTI-Divisoria at 25 units sa rutang Alabang (Starmall) – Divisoria.

Habang may 5 units ng MPUJ ang tatakbo sa rutang Malabon-Divisoria na maaari pang mabago ang bilang depende sa bilang mga pasahero.

Kinakailangan lamang na ang mga units na tatakbo sa mga bagong ruta ay hindi na tataas sa 5 taon na dapat ay nakalagay sa Certificate of Registration ng Land Transportation Office (LTO). Dapat din ay may special permit ang mga units na valid lamang ng 1 taon na puwedeng magkaron ng renewal kada taon hanggang ang North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) ay fully operational na.

Ayon din sa LTFRB na ang existing pamasahe sa mga PUBs na pinayagan ng LTFRB ang siyang ipatutupad sa mga nasabing bagong ruta.

Halos 5 taon na sususpendidhin ng PNR ang operasyon ng serbisyo nito upang bigyan daan at ng maging mabilis ang pagtatayo ng proyektong NSCR.

Ginawa ng Pangulo ang pahayag ng dumalo ito sa paglagda ng loan agreement para sa Davao Public Transport Modernization Project (DPTMP) kahapon sa Davao City.

Ayon sa chief executive ang mga proyektong kagaya ng DPTMP ay magbibigay daan sa modernisasyon ng transportasyon at paglago ng ekonomiya sa bansa.

Ang DPTMP ay isang integrated network na binubuo ng 29 na ruta na magkokonekta sa mga pangunahing commercial center ng Davao City.

Samantala, pinasinayaan din ng Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang pagbubukas ng Davao City Coastal Bypass Road (DCCBR) Segment A kasama si Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte at iba pang kawani ng gobyerno.

Sa Instagram post ni Kris, ibinahagi niya na bumalik na sa Amerika ang mga anak mula sa short vacation sa Pilipinas.

Sa panimula niya, “There are so many people to thank for the love,care, and compassion they gave me & the 2 i love most. I’ve already started sending my personal THANK YOU messages.

“My pictures were ready to share- memorable moments of kuya Josh & bimb w/ their Tito Noy timed for his 2nd death anniversary, but each time i tried to edit, i kept crying- because i can never forget how much he hated when the 3 of us weren’t together.”

Kuwento pa ni Kris kung kailangan na niyang pabalikin sina Bimb, “i’d like to believe my “Kuya”is still keeping his deathbed promise to our mom, to be patient & protective of “bunso”, kuya Josh, and bimb… it was on June 24 LA time, making it Sunday, June 25 in the 🇵🇭 (🇵🇭 is 15 hours ahead of LA) when i told bimb the deep bone pain i felt in my joints & lower back was getting worse, walking was becoming harder because of my swollen right knee, and i needed him to please come back earlier.

“Since naka FaceTime, i asked kuya kung gusto nyang sumama to visit mama in LA? Nagulat ako when he said “yes, mama – sama ako with bimby sa LA.” i told Kuya to think about it. Nag FaceTime kami the next morning and i asked- what’s your decision, kuya? He said: mama, i’ll visit you in LA. I asked him SURE KA NA BA? Siguro tumatak na kay kuya, ang sagot nya: SURE NA.”

Say pa ni Kris, “i wanted for Bimb to experience normal teenage life & kuya’s happy place is Alto, our family compound in Tarlac… pero mahirap mag chemotherapy medication as part of my immunosuppressant therapy without the support system of family.

Aamin ako w/ methotrexate + Fasenra (my biological injectable, tapos na ko sa 1st cycle) ang feeling ko 3-4 days of extreme fatigue, chills, headaches, and everything has a metallic taste. Bedridden ako at halos ‘di makagalaw- sa lahat ng dumaan sa matinding chemotherapy- saludo ako sa tatag ninyo.

Walang ginamit na public funds para sa kontrobersyal na video ng “Love the Philippines”

DUMIPENSA ang DDB Philippines, ang advertising agency na gumawa ng kontrobersiyal na audio-visual presentation ng tourism slogan campaign na “Love the Philippines” ng Department of Tourism (DOT) na wala umanong public funds na nagastos para dito.

Ito ay matapos umamin ang naturang ad agency na gumamit ito ng ilang hindi orihinal na video at hindi kuha sa Pilipinas para sa bagong tourism campaign video.

Paliwanag ng naturang ad agency na sarili nilang inisyatibo at gastos ito para tumulong na maipakilala ang bagong slogan.

Sa isang statement, humingi ng tawad ang ad agency kay DOT Secretary Christina Frasco at sa mga Pilipino sa paggamit ng video clips mula sa ibang bansa gaya ng Indonesia, Thailand at Dubai.

Saad pa ng agency na bagamat isang standard practice umano sa industriya ang paggamit ng stock footage sa mood videos dapat aniya na sumunod ito sa maayos na screening at proseso ng pag-apruba.

Ang naturang presentation din aniya ay ginawang isang mood video para ma-excite ang internal stakeholders sa naturang kampanya. (Daris Jose)
