READY nang mag-compete si Kelley Day sa Miss Eco International 2021 sa Egypt ngayong April.
Ayon kay Kelley, matagal daw siyang nag-prepare for the pageant noong hindi ito natuloy last year dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic. Ngayon ay naayos na ang lahat ng fittings niya para sa mga isusuot niyang gowns sa pageant.
“The outfits are to be finalized with the fittings and everything but other than that okay na. I have like a lot of suitcases that I can use kasi parang worry ko with the gowns and everything sometimes it’s hard to pack,” sey pa ni Kelley.
Sasailalim sa swab test ang beauty queen bago lumipad patungong Egypt at mauulit iyon paglapag nila roon.
“Then there will be a quarantine period until my results come out na negative ako. So, fingers crossed that I am gonna be negative para I can be a part of the pageant,” diin ni Kelley.
Siniguro daw ng pageant organizers na ang mga kandidata ng Miss Eco International ay magiging safe throughout the pageant.
“The places that we’re going to are limited. We’ll be going to two different resorts within the two and a half weeks and we’re pretty much in a bubble. Parang isolated din kami kasi it’s a big resort, so we won’t be in the areas na ang dami-daming tao. We should be quite safe,” sey pa ni Kelley.
Whatever happens daw, may babalikan na showbiz career si Kelley sa Pilipinas.
“There are actually a lot of upcoming projects that I’m really excited about talaga. We were supposed to do one sana within the last couple of months but because of the pageant, we’ll hold it off na lang until I get back.”
