“I did it! We did it! 🥹,” panimula ni Queen P sa kanyang IG post.
“The NYC Marathon wasn’t a race, it was an experience. A life lesson. Probably the best run of my life. I saw and felt so much. I AM SO HAPPY 🥹 and grateful, inspired, humbled, and emotional…lahat na!
“This medal represents how important it is that we keep the promises we make to ourselves. To me, it was running because I wanted a new challenge, a new discipline — to be healthier & to step out of my comfort zone, to see how far I can go. I knew it would take time and dedication to achieve it but I wanted to stick to that promise no matter where life or work pulled me.”
Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “Over the years, I got used to being at the service of others and most of my decisions revolved around work or pleasing others. This time, I stuck by running a marathon for me. This was my way of taking care of myself. And now, it has enriched my life so much because it has put me in a better place, so I feel recharged & energized to be of service to others.”
Marami nga siyang pinasalamatan sa latest achievement niya.
“Thank you to my family & friends who tracked me & cheered for me. Especially for patiently waiting long hours as I trained everyday. 😅 my love @jeremyjauncey & @sarahwurtzbach @anellecharity @carlalizardo_ @bianca.guidotti @loveyourself.ph @doctress_vinn @riabrines @bessiebesana
“And of course my coach! He’s the best! Gabb @gabbrosario thank you for pushing me and preparing me for this day! ☺️ Sobrang patient niya sakin at sa progress ko 😂
“I’m grateful for all the support and cheering on ground and online. I saw your signages, your messages, and posts — kahit sobra yung kaba ko and yung pagod 5 hours in, lumalakas loob ko. 🙏🏼”
Pag-aanyaya pa ni Pia, “Please watch out for my reel that documents my journey from training to the finish line…and pwede ko na ring sabihin ngayon: Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach from the Philippines, proudly a NYC marathon finisher 💙🇵🇭 @nycmarathon.”

If you accomplished a marathon wherever you are even here in ph it is still an achievement.”
“I think for some to marathon in NYC is a big deal as not all pinoys (marathon joiners) can fly and participate to US.”
“The preparation and expenses palang for others siguro is an accomplishment, am I making sense?”
“NYC marathon is one of the best marathons in the world. Wag na kasi mag-comment kung wala namang alam sa marathons.”
“For one its NYC, & di siya pipitsugin not open for everybody, the best din ang crowd because everyone will be cheering you on, & there are celebrities who would run for charity, & some very inspiring people you’ll meet along the way. You’d understand when you’re actually there & you’ll feel the vibe.
“Pait pait mo ano? Una mahirap para sa first timer ang marathon. Pangalawa, special tlga yan dahil may charity silang tinutulungan at pangatlo, New York City yan, if you make it there, you can make it everywhere ika nga nila, tacca! Anyways,Congratulations Pia!!
“I ran a Half Marathon a few years back and I cried after finishing. It was an overwheling feeling of exhaustion (my knee gave out early) and feeling proud of your own achievement.
“Ano pa kaya kung full marathon like Pia?! Proud of you gurl! Haters will always hate, just be proud of another person’s goals and achievements.”
