NAGING maganda nga ang unforgettable ang pagtatapos ng 2024 sa Queen of Soap Opera na si Judy Ann Santos dahil sa pagwawagi niya bilang best actress sa Gabi ng Parangal ng 50th Metro Manila Film Festival para sa napakahusay niyang pagganap sa “Espantaho” na mula sa Quantum Films.
Naging emosyonal nga si Juday nang i-announce na siya ang nanalong best actress at kinabog sina Vilma Santos at Aicelle Santos, na sinasabing matindi niyang nakalaban.
Hindi pa rin daw niya maipaliwanag ang nangyari.
Sey pa niya, “sa lahat ng awards night sa maniwala man or hindi, may parte ng puso mo na hindi ka maniniwala pero may parte ng puso mo na kumakapit na sana.
“Ang cliche sabihin na mapabilang ka sa history ng MMFF 50, ‘yun pa lang ang sarap ng pakinggan. Pero makapag-uwi ka ng award na ganito kabigat in this historic MMFF, walang kapantay, walang kapalit. It’s so good to be part of this history.”
